For the train or the truck convoy? Train is easy, most of them have an automated system you can call. As for the truck convoy... not so easy. You can TRY to call the company doing it, but they may not give you info. There used to be a way to track it online, but they nuked that a while back. I was about to try to call my truck convoy company when the sales guy texted me it had arrived. They beat me to it.
There or if you have a sales person that will respond to you. Ask the sales guy to run a VVR and give you the latest status. I assume you'll need the convoy number and possibly the VIN if you try to call the trucking company. I don't know for sure since it showed up before I could call mine. They might be jerks at the convoy company and refuse to tell you anything, so don't have high expectations.
Mine is convoy. My dealer is about as useless as they come. Sales guy said you will get it soon lol.
Try doing a chat with Ford and ask for a status update, they should give you the convoy company name and assigned number. Don't feel bad about bugging Ford chat, it's their job. Like I told Donnieboy the convoy company might not want to give you info, but you can try. You'll need your VIN # for Ford chat.
That ramp 21 line... that's what mine looked like in the VVR right before it was unloaded from the train to go on a truck. Crossing fingers it'll be soon!
So smart - I wish I would have thought of that. I'm very particular about my cars and paint. I only hand wash my cars, foam cannon, chamois mitts, single use of microfiber cloths that touch the paint, etc.Will do! Here's the one he sent me, all dirty just off the truck. I asked them not to clean it so they don't swirl the paint or anything. We already have the fancy detail stuff at home. He said the birds did a number on it and he hoped I had something to get it off. Pressure washer and foam cannon here we come! ?
OMG. I'd have murderated someone especially after your wait!! My dad owns a paint & body shop and has since retired, so I'm right there with you after growing up around that - single use microfiber cloth per panel, foam cannon, clay sponge, etc. We took a bottle of detail spray and a microfiber cloth with us to get the bird poop off ASAP. Idiots at Ford or whatever had it on a flat car on the train, which is open air, so I'm sure it was like 3 weeks or so worth of poop. ? The guy that cleans the cars at the dealership asked what my hubby was doing and offered to do it. He was like nooooooope. LOL
I picked up some Decon - Love Chemical Guys stuff! I think they just washed the iron into the car causing the swirling. Grab some of the Chemical Guys Decon Iron Remover and Wheel Cleaner. It took almost a whole 16oz bottle to do the car. We grabbed 2 just in case since you can use it for your wheels later. It was FILTHY!!! Spray it on before washing, etc and let it turn purple, then rinse and do the rest of your routine. Safe to use on the whole car. Their wash probably didn't get rid of it all.

Looks good to me? I'm not a pro, tho. We did the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Pro Graphene Flex Wax all over and on the piano black to help protect it some more. We actually have a Chemical Guys Detail Garage store in my tiny town. The guy was freaking out about the MME, wanting to know about it. LOL We stopped on the way home to pick up some of their fancy HydroView Ceramic Glass Cleaner & Coating since they left all the stickers on. Supposedly it's "like Rain-X on crack" from some reviews I've seen.
