Thanks, but I'm afraid I don't see a "miracle". I see 82 days "in transit, about two months of which were just sitting in Richards-Gebaur, MO. Instead of being a July birthday present, it will be an early Christmas present. 52 weeks for delivery, rather than 28+ weeks. In the vernacular of the Vietnam War, I do see "light at the end of the tunnel." I'm going to work on getting my mind turned around on this... after I see how the dealer treats me. ?

I know. I just meant it actually exists instead of being lost or sold out from under you and that you're finally getting it. Absolutely ridiculous what you have been through! I'm glad it's finally coming to an end. I'll send positive thoughts into the universe that the dealership doesn't try any shenanigans!

That is, once the MME ceases to be a figment and becomes a real thing.
12/6 edit: Dealer emailed that he'd confirmed MME arrival at Mira Loma Intermodal and predicted delivery to dealer in 5 days with another day for prep. He called 3 hours later to tell me that the MME I ordered a year ago was to be dropped off at the dealer this afternoon (12/6/22). The delivery appointment is set for a couple of days from now, although I may have picked it up 12/7/22, exactly 1 year after ordering. That's one anniversary I don't want to observe.

Well Congrats! That one sure got on a truck fast!

Congrats. Mine is still on ramp 6R in KC, been there since 7/29. I don't think I will get it this year. It was pushed back to Dec. 25th - 31st which i fully expect to get the email extending it another month.

Have you checked if it was damaged in transit? Thats the only time I think I have seen one stuck that long

Yes I had the dealer check and they said no its just in a shipping delay.

In case people are interested, I just got my vinview update saying the car was delivered on 12/2 (5 days after it was delivered but it did have the right date/time).

I had a scary experience tonight and almost ended up being collateral damage from a wreck that happened right in front of me. Luckily my family and my car were not harmed.

I almost got hit tonight while sitting at a stop light waiting to make a left turn. It was raining relatively heavy and someone was making a left turn in front of me from the main street to go onto the street I was sitting in. Someone else going straight hit them and spun them around in front of me, landing a foot or two away from my driver side front bumper. I had looked down at the main screen for a second since I had the red light, heard a loud bang, and looked up to see a car spinning toward me. The retired EMT and 911 Dispatcher in me made sure both drivers were ok before pulling away. I'm still a little shaken up at the thought of almost being hit and having something happen to the car. It reminded me I need to get my dash cam installed ASAP. My pony had a guardian angel looking over it tonight - no damage from debris and wasn't hit. Thank you, Universe and Karma, for not letting Sylveon take any damage!!! ? If it would have been damaged, at least the '23 I originally ordered is on the way to the dealership, but I like the one I have now.

I'm more glad the car wasn't injured with as ridiculous as it is to get your hands on one of these. I put in the AOSK pedals, both screen protectors, and a dashcam today. I took the one the hubby used in his Camaro before getting the Tesla. It's not pretty with a wire hanging for now, but it's something until I can decide if I want to spend the money on the Fitcam. Better than nothing for sure. I bought one of the rear view mirror mounts so I didn't have to stick anything to the glass since I'm considering the Fitcam. Could you do something like I did just to have some kind of coverage temporarily? Safe travels!!

One other thing been testing out bluecruise, its decent but some of the same complaints others have had, on it wanting to ride way too close to the middle line in the right lane. Also on the road I drive it likes to read the toll lane speed limit and adjust to that so its a little annoying.

I was able to use it outside of traffic and I think at least now thats where it shines, outside of the city I could see using it 99% of the time on a freeway.

I'm too scared to use it, I'm not a fan of not being in control even though the computer is smarter than humans. Hubby lets the Tesla drive for him back and forth to work on a long, mostly interstate commute. I freak out every time he turns it on, which is mostly a me issue after being a passenger in a bad wreck as a teenager. Wish I could have paid less for the vehicle to not have it. I'm also glad I don't have the ability for the car to park for me - had it on the BMW and it was SCARY. I'm probably the only person who will say those two sentences. LOL
