Well some good news, my MME arrived today. HOpefully can pick it up tonight but lets see
I see you have plugged charger on the ceiling. Can you post picture of how and where you have plugged it?its here! My salesman stayed late to make this happen tonight, there were some minor issues with the paperwork but options went fine with the locked in rate and incentives along with xplan in the end without any real trouble!

Premium Std Range, I kinda regret not getting the CR1 or the extended but thats ok. For everything but road trips this will be good enough and probably will be fine on road trips too.I just got home taking the car through some twisties - it handled great! And using Blue Cruise is always fun. Glad you finally have your car, @Atxsw, drive it over the weekend and let us have your impression of the car (is it a Premium Ext?).
Heres my answers going through a similar process:Congrats on picking up the car! This is my first post here, but I've been following along with all of you. My car was built at the end of our build week and originally had a delivery date of end of October which was delayed to end of November, then to beginning of December, and now the December date has slipped once more. I understand given the current environment things are taking much longer than they used to (especially to Southern California), so the most frustrating thing for me isn't the time frame but the lack of visibility into where the car is. The last time I received an update on the car was 9/9. Ford and my dealer have not been able to provide any updates since the 9/9 date. Really frustrated that the delivery date keeps slipping without any visibility into whether the car is actually moving and making progress, or if it is sitting in a rail car in Kansas since 9/9 without moving... With the new tax situation starting in January I'd really like to understand if my car has a realistic chance of being delivered before the end of the year.
I am also wondering if any damage is caused to the battery when cars end up taking ~3 months to be delivered.
Man, what is up with the deliveries to Texas, in theory it should have been the easiest (just leave them in Laredo and truck them to the destinations) but Ford and their shipping company really failed on thisBeen following along with you all. Here’s my order situation. I’ll need to cancel the order if I don’t have it before the end of 2022.
2022 Mustang MachE GTPE
Order: 3/19/22
Assigned build week: 9/12/22
Actually build: 9/27/22
Delivery date assigned:
Oct -rescheduled to Nov
Nov - rescheduled to early December
December -rescheduled to December 25-31
Last reported location: Kansas
Delivery locn: TX
Congrats - looks great! I almost went with the blue - was probably my 2nd choice. If the finish had been a little more metallic I probably would have gone with it.its here! Apparently, the autorack my MME order was put on at ramp 6U is still sitting there a week later.Heres my answers going through a similar process:
1. Check where it is with ford chat, hopefully its on the same train that @Bigfeets is on, if it is you hopefully will get it before Jan 1. If its not you might have to start checking with Ford executive team on it, theres little they can do but if its really forgotten about (there apparently have been some cars that are really stuck and forgotten) they might be able to do something
2. See if the dealer can look it up on vinview (freight verify). They can add you to txt messages too that might give you some updates. the Dealer can see the last location with this.
3. the battery will be fine, mine was just delivered and it still had 50% left, only problem you have is if it gets to 0 then they have to somehow charge it to move it. You probably have another 2 months before that happens.
Yeah thats correct, if its just sitting there, no updates from Vinview. Also I never got the update it finally left, I just happened to try a different way of tracking and got an update that it was actually movingApparently, the autorack my MME order was put on at ramp 6U is still sitting there a week later.

An acceptance checklist item is to see that tire pressure has been adjusted to normal pressure because factory pumps them up very high, so the tires don't deform from long immobile periods.
Sadly, VIN View doesn't work any better than VVR if dealer doesn't participate, or if there are no updates, or the MME is just sitting week after week.
