In case you're interested. My prem AWD ER red blk interior was scheduled (on 7/21, 225 days after ordering) for build week 9/19 but got moved up to 9/12 build week in batch 8071 562/1350 which started 9/5 week. Ford says it was built on 9/13 (280 days after ordering, just in time for the threatened "rail strike"). At the moment,Ford's delivery ETA to Caifornia is 25-32 days from now and "convoy" is highlighted on my window sticker. I suppose all bets are off if there is a rail strike. Onward through the fog....

Thanks for the update, you might sneak in before the strike though. At least to Kansas where maybe it could find its way there. Last I read the strike was delayed to 9/29 at noon

Great - just in time probably for our build week 9/19 cars to get stuck.

Yeah from reading cars going completely by rail a lot are already maybe stuck in Kansas City. Best case for me is they decide to just truck them in, it would probably be a shorter drive anyway than going up to Kansas city.

Build week 9/19 should start seeing window stickers and their batch numbers on them. It seems reasonable to assume that Cuautitlan keeps making MMEs even if there is a rail strike that clogs the distribution system, betting on a quick resolution. KCS RR uses mexican crews along the Lecheria to Laredo leg, but unless they can get to a US transfer yard, I assume they just won't move at all (deposited in Cuautitlan storage lots). Just guessing. Nothing to do but wait and see.

I could hope they drop them off in larado and truck it to the dealers in texas there, but thats probably too much to hope for

Ha! I just pulled my Window Sticker! And got a mostly empty response (all fields null or Error or undefined) from the forum tracker, which is different from no response at all.
