Anyone find a phone mount for the Mach-E dashboard?

I went with the ProClip Center Mount for the Mach-E. ProClip P/N: 855689. ProClip mounts support the AMPS accessory mounting platform which is the key component to my setup. The mount installs in minutes. This was coupled with a MagSafe-ready (BYO MagSafe puck) mount from Amazon, and an AMPS-compatible 15-17mm ball mount. All parts linked below images.

The Apple MagSafe charger fits snugly into the MagSafe-ready mount purchased from Amazon. The mount is line with 4 rubber pads that firmly hold the Apple MagSafe puck. No adhesive needed, like some other MagSafe-ready mounts. The MagSafe charger cable was routed through the telescoping steering wheel cavity, down the lower dash and out right above the USB-C charger.

I specifically chose this particular MagSafe-ready mount because it had the smallest MagSafe housing out of all the products tested. This is important for all iPhone 12/13 Pro users with a MagSafe-compatible case that has a large raised edge to protect the Pro camera system. Most other MagSafe-ready chargers have too large of a bezel, or have a raised edge that don't allow the 12/13 Pro models to securely attach.

I've also started to design my own MagSafe-ready mount that has the extra extension on the bottom of the MagSafe system for additional magnetic attachment. I tested a few mounts that had this feature, but they were all denied of my usage, due to the thickness of the mount or bezel interfering with my MagSafe case's camera protection lip.

This is similar to how I planned on doing it, but I like my official MagSafe charger mobile. I had already used this MagSafe mount in another car before so plan on hitching that on the amp ball joint.

I bought this and am very happy so far. I’m addition to the phone mount it also provides additional storage space behind the LCD screen. The unit slides behind the screen and is pretty slick.

This looks perfect for what I want - no permanent sticky attaches to my wife's car, but usable for my commutes.

It is hard to tell from the vids/pics, but do tree phone holder arms slide on with the ball angled downward rather than upward? The size of my s22 ultra is going to be a significant chunk of my windshield view blocked and I'd like my phone no higher than the sync screen

I'm looking for removable, so vent attach or this aosk one seem the best options and this one will hold my fastrak toll tag nicely visible for the bridge readers

EDIT: Or maybe @AOSK can answer directly before I order regarding the ability to angle the phone ball mount down rather than up

This is what I have, and while it was made for the Tesla, it works perfectly. There are two versions - a charging version and a non-charging version. I have the charging one and it's excellent. I highly recommend this product. It fits the back of the MME screen perfectly and the charger cable management is very well done. And you can adjust the orientation of the mount to be on the side (as shown here), or above the MME display.

@daemonic3 - the arm that holds the phone goes upwards only. My android phone has the power button about 1/3 from the top and so I have the phone in the holder so that the clamp does not press the power button. I wrapped the power cord around the display and use the usb outlet under the display. Here are some pictures.

Nice, thanks! I only have about an inch of phone above my volume rocker so I wasn't sure if this would work for me if the arm doesn't flip (thanks for confirming).

My other dilemma is (since I'm 99% sure the wife will say it's too "ugly" for her car) where to store it when I'm done. It's huge if not in its home!

I'm going to try this vent mount, the Lisen I use in my f150 doesn't work in our narrow little Mach E vents, it needs a longer hook arm because the vent is recessed. If it doesn't work I'll try the AOSK.

I wanted to get to my volume and side button, so, a quick mod to the right arm enables mounting it upside down on the left side.

I used the AOSK combo tray/phone thing because my primary purpose was to block direct sun exposure on back of display.... I wanted to see if I could get the display to run cooler so it will last longer. Having the phone display was secondary, but a bonus win since I can now display whatever sensor data I want 'real-time' via ODB2 and CarScanner app displayed on the phone.

I always liked ProClip USA. You buY the part that fits your phone and the part that fits your car and put them together. Doesn't seem to have the MME yet though.

Get the proclip, the angle is not an issue, because it has a tilt mechnism (In the pic your only looking at the plate, not the mount for the phone).

Once you go pro clip, its the only mount you will use. Besides Mob Armor (Awesome mounts), pro clip makes everything else look like junk. They make a specific mount for every vehicle, no other company spends the time and money to do this.

I have a pro clip in my Raptor, RV and now Mach E.

Just installed a Proclip after trying to make a two other holders work, without success.

The Proclip goes in the precise right spot just behind the turn signal lever and adjacent to the big screen, its a short run of a usb-c cable to that spot to phone if you want to go wired and not wireless, and the phone mount clips in easily. The printed instructions show step by step photos of it being mounted specifically on the dashboard of a Mach-e.

It's 3x the cost of just about any other phone holder, but seemed to me to the only clear, reliable, and workable way without using suction cups or cup holders.

If you order keep in mind that you are ordering two separate pieces, the mount and then the holder. I would suggest taking care to measure your phone's width and depth to get the right holder size. Mine I needed to measure with it's rigid protective case on.

I am satisfied and I expect this mount/holder to last a good while, given the quality.

The install is simple, just slide the piece over the back of the screen and attach the holder. You can put the holder on either side. I went with a conventional holder and like it, but it does make noise when the phone isn’t in it. I have the phone on the left side, and it is really the perfect position for viewing. I really like it except for slightly blocking the left side of screen (like song titles are partially obstructed unless you lean right), and it is a tight fit to adjust the intermittent wiper control. I’m happy it doesn’t make any holes in the dash!

I just bought a laptop lid Magsafe charger and set it on the far side of the center screen. I don't use it that much since I don't really care to have my phone up there, but it works great. Too bad it's aluminum instead of black. I might have to disassemble it and have it bead blasted and anodized. ?‍?
