In my limited experience, I have seen little difference and have stopped thinking about pre-conditioning. OTOH, I am based in Louisiana where batteries are almost never cooler than optimal. I think the car does what it needs to do to protect the battery from damage, and I don't care about an extra few minutes charging. I may try again if I do a long road trip way up north.Am I crazy? Or has this been proven that pre-conditioning leads to a faster charge?
