My "job 2" is doing something odd that my "job 1" didn't do and I think it's the source of a 12v battery warning (and refuse to start once).

My car will randomly switch out of the automatic lights setting. I noticed when I get out of the car sometimes it will be beeping and I can't figure out what it's trying to tell me, but this light won't be selected. I turn the car back on, switch to auto, turn the car back off. It seems to work and make the beep and go away and make the beep and go away.

Anyone else getting these ghost in the system?

Yes. It is a bug that I've called out 1/2 dozen or more times on the forum. Simply rotate the knob to off, then back to Auto.

Have you also gotten the 12v fault error? I think I got out of the car once when it was beeping assuming it was the child seat warning as my kid was getting out of the car.

No. I only had it happen once and noticed it within a few minutes.

I think the recommended fix is to turn it to off while the car is on, then power the car off and it should go back to auto when you turn the car on again. It should hopefully stick for a while.

My FE didn't have this issue once in the 8 months I had it. My GT does this every other day.

I don’t think you have to turn the car on. Just rotate the knob to off, then back to auto.

That defeats the purpose of "Auto" if I have to manually turn off and on.

I got it on my GTPE also. It never happened up until this past week. Did the off/Auto thing, but it did it again the next day. It's been ok the last 2 days now. ?‍♂
