I think you’re worrying about a problem that doesn’t exist.
I mean I've spent 2 hours on the phone with Ford now and they've had to push it to their escalations team. If it wasn't a problem, I'm sure they would have been able to see and let me know rather than escalating it. Along with them confirming BlueCruise flagging was removed from my account right when I updated to 2.1.0..

Supposedly going to get a call back later today with an update.

I guess this is your first time dealing with Ford customer service? They know less about the Mach-E than owners do.

It appears that this placeholder BlueCruise tab eventually disappears as cars are getting the 2.1.0 update. Is your theory that all of these cars are now ”unflagged” and won’t be able to get BlueCruise when it becomes available? Perhaps the reason customer service is having such a hard time fixing the problem is that there is no problem to fix.

So, the 2.1.0 PowerUp finally came through and now I no longer have BlueCruise on the Connected Services Screen. Coincidence? :D
Or, is this a pre-amble to Ford announcing that there's some issue with early build cars (like mine), and they'll never be able to be enabled for BlueCruise?
And, of course, since we're talking about BlueCruise, still no front trunk open from the app or the screen after the 2.1.0 update.

Curious if anyone received any answers to this. Also interested if the earlier builds will be able to take the vehicles to the dealership in first quarter 2022 to get the bluecruise software installed as promised by Ford earlier this year.

Sorry, my crystal ball is broken. Nobody here will be able to tell you that.

Reviving the thread instead of creating a new one... having 2.1.0 come through to my car has done the same thing; BlueCruise no longer shows up even as 'Coming Soon' under Connected Services.

I look at it this way... At least we didn't pay 10k for it to never appear. We got a $100 discount to 'buy it later'

It's not going to keep me up at night; just an additional data point. My car is an April build.

To note: My car is Job 1, enrolled in Early Access, and reporting the same missing "services" badge but still early access enrolled. So I'm following this with great interest.

I mean I've spent 2 hours on the phone with Ford now and they've had to push it to their escalations team. If it wasn't a problem, I'm sure they would have been able to see and let me know rather than escalating it.

I think you're both right in certain ways.

The two issues I've contacted Ford in consumer channels were left to be undesired. One was calling for a tow where the agent thought I was asking for a car jump and couldn't get their head around an electric powered Mustang Mach-E.

The other was the website reporting my Mach-E as an Edge. I called to flag it with customer service. No one had a clue if it was going to be a problem, and it took a lengthy amount of time to communicate that I owned only a Mach-E and the system was saying I had an Edge. From that escalation, eventually it was dealt with and proper reporting was in play. "Edge" Mach-Es were missing in certain company reports. That was only surfaced when escalated.

Ford CX Team has a very long way to go to make this process smoother. @Brutakus shouldn't need to spend hours to make the escalation happen. But when it does, it benefits everyone and I'm thankful the time that @Brutakus put in.

Until/unless we start hearing that Ford has rolled out BlueCruise to cars that didn’t previously have it and that people who had their icon disappear can’t seem to get it, I agree that this is not an issue and calling customer service seems premature.
