Is there a reason people are saying stop from the car, not the charger? I don’t fast charge that often, but pressing the button on either EA or EVGo screen will stop the charge and the car sees it’s not getting power and releases the plug. It’s two way communication between the car and DCFC, so under normal circumstances, I would expect you could always stop the charge from either car or charger.

It's just to avoid the charge fault message on the dash, if it's worrisome.

The reason I always unlock from the car is that's where I need to be to remove the coupler anyway. I'm lazy and don't want to retrace my steps excessively.

I wanted to say thanks everyone for all the advice!

I've tried this twice with zero issues so I've finally done things right!

Great community here ?
