Mine did this a few weeks ago. The button was gone for 2 days straight, and of course it was when I actually needed to use it.

The only way I could get the car to charge was to go in the car, and turn off charge locations completely so it would just default to 100%. 2 days later and the button came back in the app. Pretty sure this is a server side issue that happens randomly.

This is still a problem for me (Android), and the only way I've fixed it is by changing from a scheduled charge to "charge when plugged in".

Once the car starts to charge, I get the button.

Between this and the seemingly coincidental reports of L2 challenges, I suspect there is some buggy code - just not sure if it's car, app, or server.

Not sure if I experienced exactly the same issue with my 21 Job 2 but I'll relate here, just in case. In my situation, the blue banner at the bottom of the home screen in the app (with the Details button if I recall) would not appear at all so could not do anything associated with charging in the app (yet car would still remote start, etc). After a month of this, I tried reinstalling app and that did nothing. So I finally used the live chat support feature of the app and a Melinda was able to get me up and running. Here's what she had me do:

1) Reset Sync (Vol down + next track on steering wheel). This step may not be necessary but in my case, the Connected Vehicle Features area of the Connectivity side bar button wouldn't even load and would just error out. The Sync reset fixed that.
2) Turn off Connected Vehicle Features
3) Turn off car
4) Open door, lock car and close the door (car honked twice when I did this)
5) Wait 45 seconds
6) Turn on car
7) Turn on Connected Vehicle Features again

While I did these steps, Melinda was watching on the back-end to verify that things were changing; I'm not certain if any other settings were changed by her but it was pretty clear the car itself was messed up. I did this in July and it's been fine since. Hope it helps. If not, the live support might just resolve the situation.

Hi all - I have just found that my "Charge to 100%" button is no longer appearing in the app.

When I plug the car in outside of scheduled times, I used to be able to click the Details on the "Waiting to Charge" in FordPass and I had the option to initiate charging immediately, outside of the scheduled time.

However now I click Details but this option is simply no longer there.

Especially problematic since my charging according to schedule is ALSO not working (I keep getting "Charge Paused" when I try to charge overnight on my scheduled window).

Really problematic. Would love any suggestions.
Check in your Ford App, in Vehicle, then Preferred Times, there you can set it to "Charge when plugged in," instead of Use preferred charge settings."

Thanks that's what I do as a workaround, but doesn't explain the sudden difference if the Charge Now to 100% option that's always been there...

I'd really love for that button to return for me too. It's fairly annoying. I typically charge higher for longer trips and don't start it until I wake up, and this makes it difficult to do. I also haven't been able to set charge settings from the mobile app either, but every other function in there seems to work ok.
