Yeah, I gave it to the dealer for a week and they tried everything the FSE at ford recommended without success so I took it home and hoping the BEV team comes up with a solution. No reason for it to sit at the dealer while ford tries to figure it out.

Did the FSE have any good ideas? I’m glad you got one to come out at least!

FSE worked with the tech over the phone, but this tech seems to be pretty knowledgeable about the Mach e. I really feel it's a software issue. BUT my gut tells me not enough cars affected for them to fin a fix. I'm going to call the person assigned to my case once a month for a few months and see what happens.

Exact same issue here. August 2023 Mach E premium eAWD. It never stops charging. The app says it is constantly pulling power. Tried resetting up charge locations. Didnt work. I just tried deleting the charge locations and letting it go to 100%. It stayed at 99% for hours and never got to 100 until I unplugged it, then it immediately jumped to 100%. Then I plugged back in. The app now says it’s not pulling power and the humming sound when charging is way less loud, but the Grizzl-e charger still shows it’s giving power. This is extremely frustrating. I need to see a daily power usage report from my power provider to verify if the car is indeed infinitely pulling power.
My 2023 GT also does this, I have a case open with the BEV team Case CAS45431676, Its a software issue, the car knows how to put the EVSE back into the correct state when you have a timed charge setup, but once started it never stops. No other EV I've owed has ever done this.

yes, I also think it’s a software issue. I called into the BEV team, and I gave them your case number. They also opened a new case number for me. The guy I was talking to said I should bring my car into a dealership. I was like, what’s the point? It’s a software issue and my car is going to sit there for weeks for no reason. He’s trying to tell me it’s because I’m not using the Ford charger. Which is an excuse for “I don’t know what the issue is”. I have a Grizzl-e non smart charger. I’m wondering if I get a smart charger capable of timed charging would this resolve the issue. Like, maybe if the charger itself cuts power to the car at a certain time it would stop this infinite charging. I was also looking into getting a timer that can go between the outlet and the charger to completely cut power to it at a certain time.

Yeah I use a dumb evse as well (juicebox 40). All it does is provide the energy source the charging control is from the car either via fordpass or sync 4 set up. That's an interesting point about a smart charger, I've never been able to get my juicebox to link my wifi so I haven't tried that, but it could possible work as you suggest.

JuiceBox is a Smart EVSE. I would suggest trying again, then contact them. You need to power off, then on. Then search for the JuiceBox in your phone's WiFi connections and go from there. Easy.

yeah I know it has the smart capability but I didn't really pursue it since I use fordpass for my charge schedule. I will probably look at the capability now if ford can't figure out how to get the charging to stop at the designated time.

There are several reasons to enable it:

1) It keeps track of ALL charging events. I can tell you exactly how much electricity I've used, per charging session, back to the installation date 2 years ago.

2) You can alter the charge rate up or down (up to the limits of the wiring / breaker).

3) You can set it to the hours of low electricity costs, and then no matter what the vehicle wants to do, it won't get charged (or pull power to precondition), unless YOU take a simple step and enable it (takes seconds).

4) You can set it to tell you that the vehicle isn't plugged in and charging. For example, if your low rate begins at 7PM, you can tell it to notify you at 7:15 if it's not plugged in.

Have you ever eliminated FordPass from the equation? It seems like you have but if not I would give that a try just to eliminate it from the equation. It certainly seems like an in-car issue and not a FordPass issue.
