Ford Mustang Mach-E "Charging System, Service Soon" warning, but nothing appears wrong IMG-7754
Howdy, I did not see this specific error discussed after searching the forums. I have charged, done a repair cycle, and charged again the 12V battery. The Ford pass app says there are no active alerts under the vehicle status and has the green circle with white check mark indicating no issues.

This error comes up every time I start the vehicle, but everything appears to be working fine. The dealer says they have no idea, but will look at it if it persists. They are 40 minutes away, so I'd prefer to avoid the trip if possible knowing they will likely keep my GT for an unknown length of time.

Any ideas? Could this be related to a module firmware bug? Advice / suggestions welcome. If this was already covered in another thread, please point me in the correct direction.

Thanks!

It sounds like a module software incompatibility, but do you plug in all the time? If so it could be a communication issue with the charger(EVSE) or something goofy like that.

I don't plug in all the time. I have a wallbox at home which I use for my wife's phev with no issues, and am using it with the MME. I have tried another charger too, but the message never cleared. Still there each time I startup.

You might need to press OK on the steering wheel to clear it.

PM Me your VIN I want to see if it uploaded any weird codes. Is the red battery light on? Could be a glitch.

Charging system refers to the 12v battery charging system in this case.

Really appreciate having someone on here that can look these things up! Do you mind sharing what you find on thread if it doesn't share any PII?

Found nothing unfortunately. No DC DC codes. Some weird codes but the car is brand new so not sure if they would come back if cleared.

It's a typo. It's meant to read:

OK button
Push soon

Glad I was here to help.

Ah, so somewhere I have a button to push? Very much in my learning curve
It's on the steering wheel. It has an "OK" on it.
