sorry if someone already mentioned, now that some folks have their mach-e, what are people using for the interior vegan leather seats? leather stuff? interior detail stuff? 303 protectant?! nothing and just wipe it down occasionally with a damp cloth?

Haven't had it long enough to need deeper cleaning, but I did wipe everything down with a Chemical Guys all-purpose interior cleaner. I've used it on my other cars for a while and it works well and is safe for a multitude of surfaces (including leather).

I don't think a generic leather cleaner/protectant would be bad on the seats.

"Pan the Organizer" says in some of his videos that many factory surfaces are protected with clearcoat, including exterior paint (obviously), but also factory wheels, leather or vinyl seats, and steering wheel.

If this is true (which I don't really know), doesn't this suggest that decent automotive cleaners are designed for clearcoat moreso than any special characteristics of leather versus vinyl?

I am assuming we can use these for the steering wheel too - read some where that Ford had to come up with new material for the steering wheel.

Since it's vegan, just rub it down with some bacon grease :D
Lol - its mostly plastic I am guessing - there is description anywhere I could find that describes what it is made of. I am sure its not made of plants ;)

I've used this cleaner in the past on our MB synthetic seats and it works well. They have conditioner also but I'm not sure if the glycerin is vegetable or animal derived. I'm sure other less expensive cleaners would be fine.

This is pretty much what I'm planning on ordering to take care of the carpet and seats. He's detailing a Tesla, but those seats aren't leather either, so I figure it should work as well for the Mach E.

I haven't received my car yet, but I'm planning on using 303 Protectant on it as I have for my last several vehicles with vinyl or otherwise non-leather seats. Works well, puts a little shine on, but doesn't get sticky, and doesn't use silicone which can degrade plastics (looking at you, Armor-all).
