It‘s the maximum allowed by law OR the rate in your contract, whichever is lower.

Is there a resource to see what states get the higher cash incentives for Ford Options? I know some have $2,500 versus those who have $1,000. Is there any way to get the $2,500 incentive in a state that offers $1,000? Trying to educate myself before dealing with the finance department next week.

Incentives vary by your zip code, not by state. You have to go onto the Ford Build and Price website, use your zip code, find the closest dealer, build a Mach-E, click the calculator and see what the results are.

Is it possible to live in the same state and get different amounts? Yes. If you happen to live near the border of another state it's possible that you could fall into the marketing territory of the neighboring state, but that's not common.
