We are still waiting: order date of 8/5/21, car build 1/10/22 new delivery date now is 18 May 2022. I called Ford Customer Service and was told, yes, your car is built and it's on a chip hold and no we don't know where it is. 10 months!!!! At least the snow will be gone!

I ordered my car in sept 21, was told the build would be in Feb. Now looks like delivery is end July. Thanks about 40 weeks so way off what Ford stick on their website.
If it gets much longer I think I will wait for the Fisker which looks to be a much better car. Really disappointed with Ford and Uk deliveries.

I wouldn't trust Fisker at all. They have fallen on their faces time and time again. I appreciate their latest attempt to build a cheaper EV to undercut Model 3 sales, but I'd be very skeptical of their product based on their poor history.

I think the Fisker all looks great on paper and I actually want Fisker to succeed and get their cars out, but like the numerous posts mention, it's still an unproven car manufacturer and it's really impossible to say if they will actually make it. A LOT (nearly all) of these new car makers tend to collapse for whatever reason and competition is only going to get worst/heat up further as GM starts ramping up, the slew of 10+ new EVs this year, not to mention the Chinese cars coming. Fisker isn't like a Porsche with name recognition (if anything, their name hurts them) and a huge company behind them (VW > Porsche).

Unlike Lucid and Rivian which are actually delivering cars now, Fisker is still unproven so putting your faith in them is purely also a leap of faith. One thing that's certain is some folks did get the MME already. Reviews have all been pretty positive (nothing is perfect).

Fisker is not like GM where they have massive resources and sell hundreds of thousands of cars to finance anything and they can fail and still survive (see the Bolt EV fires). If the Ocean/Pear doesn't sell/survive, I think it's certain the company is done for.

40 weeks would be a big improvement based on my experience. I ordered a Prem ER AWD on 5.12.21...current projection for delivery is 5.13.22.

Wow, 366 days! I'm only 354 days.

I got my select directly from the lot. I thought I would just go check them out and left the same day with a new car. There wasn't really any markup. It had the comfort and tech package, and all weather mats, the only real mark up was the dumb door guards that were already installed, I think they charged like $800 for them, but it was still lower than if I did the same build minus the door guards on the site. I sorta wanted the premium with the glass roof, but other than the glass roof, I got everything I need. Plus, the solid roof just made racing stripes look cooler I got mine at Mossy Ford in San Diego. They don't seem to be screwing people.....Or weren't in Oct 2021. Not sure what's happening now.

A bad word here in Delaware, Fisker was supposed to buy the closed GM plant here and made promises of new jobs for thousands of unemployed GM workers when they shut the plant down. Delaware even coughed up a health tax break for Fisker at the time, unfortunately it all turned to vaporware and the factory has since been demolished.

My order date was 11/15/21 and my vehicle is in production and will be delivered the end of March or early April. I'm hoping this vehicle continues the good luck as I beat the price increase, my dealer is charging me sticker with no ADM, I register it in New Jersey with no state sales tax. I'm waiting for it to burn on its way up like the ship with the Porsche's given all the good luck I've had so far. It's a GT performance edition.

A few of us here on the Mach E Forum also have a Bronco on order with Ford. Since I reserved my Bronco is has been about 18 months so far and I do not have a VIN or any indication when it will go onto production or be delivered. That's 82 weeks up to this point, or 570 days. Therefore a 40 week wait for my MME sounds fast!! ?
