Super nitpicky, but I'd like a way to route a cable out of the center console and have the slider fully closed. I use a warp charger for my OnePlus 7 Pro, and it annoys me quite a bit that I can't fully close the console due to the cord coming out.

People have complained about opening the FRUNK. My big complaint is CLOSING the FRUNK. If you're actually using that thing, it needs to close smooth like a trunk and not rough/clunky like a hood. I can never get it closed on first attempt (slam it hard, close it soft, etc), I always have to put both hands over the latch piece on the hood and press down with my weight evenly distributed, leaving two huge hand prints on the hood that needs to be wiped off with microfiber. I mean come-on... would it have killed you for a close, and then electronic hook to grab/pull tight and latch like typical power trunks have?
So true!!!

The screen jutting out at me. I'd like it to be build into the dash a bit more. I don't like my knee being an inch or two from the corner of it.
I’m 6’1” and I keep my seat pushed as far away from the steering wheel as possible. So I like having the infotainment screen extruded out toward me for easier reach. To each his own.

No physical knobs for the climate controls. The slider is way too small and fickle to be adjusting the temperature when driving on concrete roads and your hand is bouncing around. I can only adjust the temperature at stoplights.
Agree that the touch sliders are a bit cumbersome. The good news is that Ford can easily fix this with a software update which allows the volume knob to also control temp and fan speed. The knob would control volume by default, but if you tap the fan the knob then controls that for a few seconds, etc.

No offense intended, but dang are we talking some nits in this thread. The physical design is so good overall.

To me, the two things Ford clearly whiffed on are (1) not including a physical button for the rear hatch open and close, and (2) no physical controls for HVAC.

Fortunately both can be fixed with software tweaks. Just add a rear hatch button to the infotainment Home Screen (ONE TAP ONLY - NO NESTING) and make the volume knob more versatile as explained above, and both problems are fixed.

A few other nits that have been mentioned and I agree with: the frunk is a little tough to close, the mood lighting is a little dim even on max setting, and the driver instrument screen feels like it could be a little more intuitive (I’m still not sure what all the various little symbols at the bottom of the screen mean).

All your other nits are dumb and wrong. :)

Well, for looks and functionality it would be a nice trend to not slap a screen onto a dash. I'm guessing you won't see much of this in the future(except for Tesla, they probably will put it on a swing arm next). I can definitely see knees smashing those corners in accidents.

I'm a little taller, so I also keep my seat back as far as possible unless I have backseat guests that require a little more knee room(read: tall children). I just don't think a go-go gadget screen popping out at me is ideal. It seems like other manufacturers have figured that out with their electric offerings.

The rear wiper ...the arm/blade is just too short for the rakish tailgate glass. The wiper blade does not sweep the top two inches of the glass. Don't know if by putting a longer wiper blade will alleviate this problem.

I don't like that the climate control always turning on the E-Heat whenever I press the auto button. I would hope that the car is smart enough not to actually turn it on on a 95F day, but I still don't like that on the display it comes on. Another thing is the recirculate function, it seems to randomly turn itself off after I turn it on to recirculate.

And I wish the outside mirrors tilt down when the car is on reverse.
If your memory position is 1, save it to 3.. Press 3 and adjust mirrors down. Save 3. Now you can use 3 when parking. Someone else had this great workaround so I can’t take credit…

Not talking about broken features (paak).
For example I do not like the vents. Too narrow and I never feel like I'm getting blasted with as much air as I'd like.
What else?
No handy 12v receptacle for dash cam or radar detector

While it's not exactly handy, I ran a USB cable from my dash cam down pillar A to behind the driver's seat and plugged it into USB port on the back of the console. Not perfect but it works fine and while I could see it if I sat in the back see, I don't sit there so I don't care.

Glass roof
Curious as to why you don't like the glass roof as I have one on order. I would definitely have preferred it to be able to open and be a sunroof. That's the reason I haven't bought a new Tesla - no more sunroofs and my 2015 has one. Please dm me or elaborate. Thanks!

The mechanism that holds the charge hatch closed. Have you had a look at it? Pull the rubber cover back and you'll see that the post is akin to a ball point pen mechanism.

This is why we're seeing these open in owner's garage in the middle of the night and while driving.
