Disable Mach-E Lane Centering?

Is it possible to remove the Lane-Centering so it doesn't activates by default when i start the vehicle?

Press the lane-centering button on the steering wheel. Once it's off, it stays off until you hit the button again to turn it on. The button is on the lower left hand side of the wheel and is labelled like this "/ \"

Lane centering is only available in conjunction with cruise control. Actively steering to maintain the center.

Lane Keeping is controlled by the procedure @timbop described. Turn it off via the steering wheel control before you turn off the car and it will stay off. Lane Keeping just alerts you if you are drifting out of the lane and can gently nudge you back into the lane.

Alright, so it’s not possible to switch it off completely?
Because even of I’ve had it off it switches on by default next time i start the car.

On US vehicles: vehicle - settings- driver assistance-cruise control. Under Intelligent Cruise Control switch lane centering off.

There are two places that lane centering can be turned on and off. One is in the Intelligent Cruise Control settings, which says whether Lane Centering should be used while in cruise control mode. You can still turn it on and off manually with the button on the steering wheel.

The other is for the Lane Keeping mode which can nudge you back into the lane if you drift in normal driving. It can be set to Alert (buzzes the wheel but doesn’t apply steering) or Aid (which will actually apply the nudge), or both, and you can disable by setting to Alert and reducing the intensity to off. Lane Keeping settings apply all the time whether you are in cruise control or not.

As you can see I have the Lane Keeping set to Alert and Lane Centering set to On while in Intelligent Cruise Control. The settings do save so I get lane centering while cruise control is on, but not when it is off.

That's Lane Keeping mode. Click this button on your steering wheel to turn it off. Your image cut off the button.

(That's how it works on North American vehicles)

Must be a Europe or country specific thing.

On this side of the pond when we turn it off it stays off until we turn it back on again even through key cycles.

Only if it was saved that way in the driver profile. For us, switching lane keep assist on or off is a profile setting that's persisted each time we turn it on or off.

Okay, but do you turn it off on the steering wheel or in Sync?
So this is your default screen then?
