From the EV6 forums it looks like it will be markup insanity for a while and they won’t be available for at least a month or two in the US.

Which forums please? I am looking for a Genesis GV60 forum which is by the same parent company.

Just asked local dealer about EV6, he said he expects 3 AWD GT-Line models in March, and I put my name on the list for one of them.

I'm still waiting to be scheduled for production from an Oct order. If I am not scheduled for production by the time this EV6 arrives, and the EV6 does not have any crazy last minute markups... I might be switching.

Premium AWD ext battery and GT-Line AWD both have similar range and similar 0-60 numbers. But the EV6 has:
+ quicker charging (not a huge deal to me)
+ vented seats, heated rear seats
+ sunroof opens
+ I think ground clearance is a touch higher?
- smaller storage spaces
- not as cool as the mustang

Am I missing other things?

Here's another EV6 review:

I viewed one yesterday by Out of Spec reviews but can't, for the life of me, find it right now.

His comments at the end on the ride quality were interesting to say the least.

Better ride quality (i.e., not as "bouncy").

Con: The EV6 doesn't come with either a 120 or a 240v charger and folks over on the EV6 forum are a wee bit ticked off, to say the least.

I have to say, the charge port location for the ev6 is much better. At least when it comes to the DCFC installed on the sides versus ends.

With the MME I really only have access to half the chargers compared to the EV6.

*Please note, this comment is not meant to be negative towards any non-Ford EV..

Totally absurd and anyone who pays ADM is perpetuating the process, IMHO.

EV6 has:
+ V2L ability
+ Longer warranty
+ Tow rated
+ Longer EPA range
+ 4.4s vs 5.1s 0-60 standing start
+ Augmented reality HUD
+ Wider tires for superior lateral grip
+ Lighter weight

- weak infotainment system
- minimal OTA capability
- poor internal nav + charging integration
- no glass roof (dark, claustrophobic backseat)
- no Plug and Charge
- minimal aftermarket accessories

He does a more thorough comparison here.

Thanks. I like that embedding the youtube videos into a post bypasses their commercials.
