"Ford Options" Mach-E Lease vs standard lease - similarities and differences

The only reason I am dearly trying Ford options is to reduce base cost of MME-Premium-AWD to sub-50,000 amount. This make me eligible for state rebate (MOR-EV) and my town rebate. So really getting that program marks off $7,500 price. Add Federal rebate of $7,500 and this can very well be the sweetest deal I can think of. Again fingers crossed.

You should double check with the state and town to make sure that's the case. The $2500 rebate for doing Options counts towards your down payment, but doesn't actually reduce the selling price of the car on paper.

I was already on the fence about Options, but when the salesman looked at me like I was speaking Martian when I mentioned Ford Options and explained how it worked, after I'd already been there for too long just getting the deal together, it just really wasn't worth the struggle. I have attempted to hammer home to my dealer that I am doing options and I want their finance department to know what they're doing by the time I walk in the door. I even sent the finance codes someone posted here a while back to make sure they get the message. The less time I spend there the better.

Same and it worked out fine once I got to the dealership.

I'll make that sure. But seems like the Dealer themselves (three independent ones) are reducing Base price by $2600. Checked with town and the guys are on board. Haven't checked with MA state.

I just checked my paperwork and the dealer used the $2,600 ($2.500 for using options and $100 other incentive) as part of my down payment.

I know in CT there are also EV incentives for less expensive cars. The state maintains a list and the Mach E was not on the list. ?

The MOR-EV rebate cutoff is based on the window sticker MSRP not including the $1100 destination charge. Dealer discounts, manufacturer rebates, etc do not factor in here based on my reading of the state website.

As of May 1 the price of ALL cars has gone up between $2-10,000 due to supply issues. This is on all cars. Glad I got mine when the price was low.
