So the MME doesn’t download updates via WiFi? What’s the point then?

It used to. All the updates my FE got came over wifi. I don't think any have since I've had the GT though.

Hopefully this will fix the profile issue. I am still frustrated when my profile does not load! Yes I have tried all the "tricks" on multiple threads.

I'm so happy they are spending time on more games. ? ?
Please give us a couple of programable quick-function buttons!
And why do we need the map taking up 3/4 of the screen when I'm going to work?
The maps are GREAT, but I only need them once a month at most.
Please allow me to minimize the thing. Little buttons and gloves (even touch-friendly gloves) in the winter don't work well.

Bigger buttons, smaller maps, and less time creating games, please!

So help me out. Have the car about 3 weeks learning a lot from this site. On the updates, you have to pull an update if you are near AT&T towers? These do not come via WiFi?
is the only way to tell if i get the update is by looking at the update page in the SYNC4A ?
I checked , and see no new updates? was out this past weekend with car and sure was I around At&T towers.
Do they roll out in phases?

They roll out in phases. I have my car set to connect to my home wifi, I have auto updates on, and I set scheduled updates to apply every night at midnight. I have never had an issue with getting them, but you will see people post about them, and it may take a month before you get it. You can see what other cars are getting them in the post "21 job 2 in EA, just got...." You can join Early Access also, that speeds it up.

If you just got a 23 dont stress about not getting them, just make sure stuff is setup and then wait a bit and see.

As others have said I dont think they come over wifi, its odd, but every update I can remember (about 20 this year) has come after a short drive.

It will download on Wi-Fi, if you are in Wi-Fi range. The issue isn’t that it won’t use Wi-Fi, it’s that’s the car only checks for updates when you start it and leave it on for a few minutes. Usually that would be when you’re going for a drive, and then you would not be in Wi-Fi range anymore.

If you started your car at home, not remote start, but get in and start it, after a few minutes it should start to download and as long as you’re connected to Wi-Fi it should download it over that connection.

I have had an update download over Wi-Fi, but only one of the dozens I’ve received.

So you have to be in the car at home started and sitting in it or driving it around sitting in it. It will not update by itself when sitting there parked? Is it scared to update by itself? ;)

Correct. It will only check for updates when turned on.

My theory is they do this because they know the 12v battery has a better chance of being at a higher SOC when the car is running vs sitting.

Let me know if I missed this doing a quick search in the forum. Just got a notification for the below. I keep updated using FDRS and did the latest updates which was the GWM about a week or two ago. The updates make no sense as I already had these features from the previous updates

I don’t care about games. What I do care about is getting bugs fixed.
Here is a bug I would like fixed. If you tell you car to charge to 100% and then stop charging stating you want to resume schedule it will charge to 100% anyway. Another bug is with the lights off timer. Sometimes the lights off delay keeps the lights on for a while even though the setting is lights off immediately. The fix is to turn lights off after starting the car. That fixes it for a month or so until it does it again.
with the latest update I have sometimes the seat heat button after touching it it will not go away.
