Its on the new FordPass. Just connect the watch to wifi after updating the phone app. It should update too.

Yeah, it let me look at the old version but when I got home, I went to the Watch and it asked me to set a passcode for remote operation and then I went back in and it wouldn’t let me in again so it said go to the phone and open the app and once I did that now I see thank you

First screen when you open it up shows charge level. Swipe up or down to see more.
Main screen charge level, swipe down once and you get lock\unlock and climate start and swipe again and you will see the location and honk the horn flash lights (find me)

Great, in order to get vehicle location, I have to allow Google to get

I would recommend being vocal about privacy concerns and Google Maps usage over native map systems. The location permission is just to show your location on Google Maps (how 3rd parties have to do it in an iOS eco-system), the privacy stuff is legal + Google stuff for use-age.

I can confidently tell you that any of the requested permissions do not send/use your data for anything beyond current usage and there 0 nefarious intentions there - a lot of this is “legal” and “Google”.

Did it get rid of the "Charge to 100%" button, that allowed you a one time full charge, the charge status menu had? I know I couldn't find it when I was testing out the beta a month or two ago.

Where is the trip planner in the new version?

I too am missing this feature. It is very helpful (to me) for planning a charging scheme for long distance travel without having to be in the car.

All I can say is, most is providing the best of what they can giving existing limitations to certain hardware/software stacks ?

There's a lot to be desired from both charge time and HVAC capabilities.

Last knowledge I had, Trip planner is TBD atm. There's some much better stuff being thought out here. I believe it was already noted that the next generation of vehicles will have a much stronger buy into Android Automotive and Ford has a very close relationship with Google in regard. Do with that knowledge as you will.

It’s there. Pull down on main page or press start button on the energy tab.
