I wouldn't entirely say that's the reasoning. It's more of the general confusion that happened before with buttons showing/hiding based on BLE connectivity. Now they're all under a single place so they're not showing/hiding mixed in with non BLE buttons. The drawer concretely segregates everything that is/isn't active based on BLE connectivity at once and denotes if they are/aren't available. I can't express enough how many people struggled with buttons randomly showing/disappearing because of BLE or Paak configurations on the forums or in other feedback channels ?No, they are in under controls.
As you don’t need to press and hold. They tucked it under a panel to avoid accidental openings.
Preventing accidental opening might be a side effect of the design..
