Back in '21 I messed around with it. Nothing changed. Have not looked since.Did someone figure out what this is? I am curious.
Adding the APIM change may only enable the toggle and not the feature itself. Some things require config changes to more than module for it to actually work.I enabled in Forscan the chime for speed limit but, after switching it on, it immediately turns off. Anyone tested this?
Thanks @rugedraw for your advice. I tried to set F8 but after saving the setting stays on 0000. I tried also to enable TSRS in the IPMA setting list but the chime toggle on screen always turns off.I would try xxxx F8xx xx--
Maybe try one independent of the other one. With my FORScan experiments, I've found that if you enable two events at once that clash with each other, FORScan will smartly revert the changes back. I would try just the 8 first and then just the F. If none of those work, I'm out of ideas for now. I'd have to dig through the spreadsheet to see if I find anything related to that. Thanks @rugedraw for your advice. I tried to set F8 but after saving the setting stays on 0000. No way unfortunately. The setting always stays on 0000. Maybe that setting is not for our MME or the module software version is not the right one.Maybe try one independent of the other one.
Not sure. I did find that in the MME spreadsheet though. No way unfortunately. The setting always stays on 0000. Maybe that setting is not for our MME or the module software version is not the right one.
Open in Forscan the APIM settings, not the as-built line with the codes but the other one with the settings list. The option "Splash Screen" should be disabled, just enable it and save.I tinkered with Forscan a bit on the splashscreen in the APIM module and noticed that the “welcome” screen isn’t there anymore. I have restored everything to before but it’s still off when I open the car door. Has anyone faced this before?
The value of the Splash Screen on APIM is currently Mach-E GT.Open in Forscan the APIM settings, not the as-built line with the codes but the other one with the settings list. The option "Splash Screen" should be disabled, just enable it and save.
I tried to restore the factory backup but still not working. It might be just that the car not liking me.I would try to save a different value of the Splash Screen (don't remember which ones are listed) and then revert to Mach-E GT. Just to try.
Reload FORScan and when it is asks you if you want to load the existing profile, select no so that it does a fresh scan and try again.I tried to restore the factory backup but still not working. It might be just that the car not liking me.
What about 2024s? I did the same thing when I had my Bronco and could see if there's an amber on always DRL for the 2024 Mach-EThe amber side marker on the ‘21-‘23 MME Premiums and GTs are physically separate from the DRLs (as evidenced that the DRL stays on when the side marked is active). Not sure that the frequency of the white DRLs can be changed. ??
