Ridiculous there isn't a recall for this issue still.

I have R&R’d them but not replaced them with new. My only reason to mess with them was to reposition them in case that was the issue. Since they did need replacing, I had a dealer do it under warranty. ?Has anyone replaced the cable by themselves?
It would be great if in the next week you could do it and document the whole thing for me.I'll add this to my list as mine has become more flakey and failing just minutes after starting the drive.
Oh no, this goes to the dealer. I don't remember buying a $50k+ project car, but my wife keeps telling me I did. The list is to annoy the dealership with.It would be great if in the next week you could do it and document the whole thing for me.
Maybe I need to hope @markboris has the issue so I can get some real help. Just kidding of course.Oh no, this goes to the dealer. I don't remember buying a $50k+ project car, but my wife keeps telling me I did. The list is to annoy the dealership with.
Sorry Aaron, I've never had an issue with my cameras.Maybe I need to hope @markboris has the issue so I can get some real help. Just kidding of course.
wow, good job! Here is my post from the other thread:
I did it myself, by my observation, the original front camera cable is in a state of tension, and if you follow each of the cables they are subject to a number of sharp twists. Furthermore, the instructions indicate that only some cars will have the APIM jumper, but near as I can tell they all will since our car doesn't have BC yet still had the jumper. Also, I used split loom cables under the dash.
