Uhh, I would start out by simply cleaning the windshield and front grill thoroughly as this msg is not what we all see with FC/ACC Not Avail faults.
Omg whoops. Thank you for that! That makes sense since we’ve had a ton of rain and wind, and my car was parked under trees during the storms. I’m still traumatized by my 2021 experience that I now have warning light PTSD.

The 2022 has been great so far! B/C works without any problems except I need to clean the grill! ?

Mine faulted again today. :(
Worked for a few weeks recovering from faults. Fault is pervasive now so I dropped it back to the dealer. Got a rental. I suspect a connection / cable issue as it faulted when going over train tracks. Hopefully will be fixed for good as I love the car.

Just got the car back from dealership fix attempt #3. This time, they replaced the Control Assembly Audio Visual Unit LJ8Z-19H405-K. Did another 360 camera reset.
I have hesitated to post any updates out of fear of jinxing it, but knock on wood no Front Camera Faults since we picked the car up after the 3rd fix attempt (so, 10 days at the time of this post). The real test comes around Christmas time when we have a small road trip planned.

In this thread alone there are a couple/few "dozen" by my count. There have been a few other threads here and there on this forum where folks have mentioned hitting the issue. I'm not sure how to correlate that into the general population of owners who do not post on this forum.

I'd like to add my name and my Mach-E to the list of those who may possibly now be fully corrected from this problem. A recap:
The faults started showing up in June. I had a short list of other warranty concerns as well.
Because I use/need the car, it took me a while to take it in.
I delivered it to the dealer 8/15/22 at 30,675 miles.
At that time, I had no idea others were having these same faults, but soon discovered on the forum that a number of others were having the same issues.
The dealership had the car 7 weeks, and consulting with field engineers, did updates and replaced IPMA, and then gave it back to me temporarily to drive for a week. During that week, the faults re-occurred. I contacted Ford's BEV team and got a case started.
The dealership had the car 5+ more weeks, and replaced the front camera and ordered the front coax cable (backordered).
They gave the car back to me again for 2 weeks temporarily to drive while waiting for the cable. During this time, approximately 1,000 miles, I experienced no faults.
I gave them back the car for 1+ weeks and they replaced the coax cable.
They returned the car to me 12/13/22 at 32,401 miles, and closed out the repair ticket. The entire three visits were done under one repair ticket.
I have now driven another 470 miles with no faults.
So over the 17 weeks, the dealership had the car for 14 weeks. Other unrelated warranty issues were also being addressed during this time.
My Service Advisor and Ford Motor Company have been good to me, and I have no hard feelings.
Ford has Reimbursed me for gasoline purchased for my other vehicle retroactively back to when I first delivered the car for service ($2,300).
Although I have no car payment, Ford compensated me $500 for one month's payment.
Ford is providing their Premium ESP Plan (60 mo./75,000 miles, $100 deductible) free to me. This will give me approximately 22 months of peace of mind beyond the 36,000 factory warranty.
I think the fault problem may possibly be fully resolved on my car. My faults never seemed to be heat related, but time will tell if they come back next summer.
I hope my story gives some hope to all who don't have resolution yet.

Add me to the fixed list too! It's been 2 wks since I got the car back and a few hundred miles! Still, not a single issue whatsoever. Enjoying a 100% fault-free existence in my GT again! Yay!

That’s awesome! Mine is still at the dealer. Will be week 3 Monday. I’ve already started the buyback process and they approved it and will be sending me forms to sign. However, if they can truly fix it, I would love to keep it until my 2023 is built. Good for you! ?

Since whatever repair they tried the first time about a month ago, the same camera fault has occurred twice more.

I can confirm that this error is definitely related to some sort of BUMP in the road - once during a slight curb-check and once on a highway bridge expansion joint. But it certainly doesn’t happen with every bump. Not even close. Just very rarely.

I guess I can live with it until there is a definitive fix. Seems like a safety issue that might eventually be covered by a recall. But I’m also under warranty for a few more years.

My babies are officially back together! So a few weeks ago, I posted that Ford was going to be buying my MME back due to the front camera fault and pre-collision assist warnings after multiple failed attempts to fix it. GOOD NEWS! They finally figured it out! It was a loose wire cable inside of the camera. I’m sharing this for anyone else with a 2021 having the same issue (there are many of us). Don’t give up! it can be fixed! ???

Dealer needs to inspect and *very likely* replace a suspect coax cable harness run from FC through the headliner & driver's side A-pillar. I had faults from bumps too. I believe the field engineer who came out to check my GT suspected it as a cause. Don't live with it. Open up a Ford BEV CS case by calling tomorrow. They seemed to move things along!

Good morning! If you send over a private message with your VIN and dealership info, I'd be happy to look into things on my end.

I got my GT back from the dealer Tuesday and it has been working great. I use my adaptive cruise control all the time on every street, even residential. It helps me keep within the speed limit as my foot doesn’t like to go the speed?

They had 2 engineers from Dearborn (Ford HQ) come out to fix it. They said there was some missing data that the dealer didn’t have and ford did. I was told they reapplied a software update and input this missing data that the dealer was not aware of. I’ll attach my work order and keep testing it and let everyone know if I have any problems with it or not. I will be going on a trip to Florida after thanksgiving so that will be a good test.

I think the key thing is for everyone to make sure their dealer is engaged with Ford on this fix.
No issue after two month so I consider it fixed. My issue was software related and not hardware. Drove to Florida from Michigan for the winter and I use Adaptive Cruise every day.

Update 3
I’ve had the car back for a month. No faults. Everything has been working as it should since the cables were replaced.

Nice! I might need to order the cable and install it myself. Do you have a part number from your repair ticket?

I am still getting the errors although much less frequent compared to the summer. I only see this about once a month now.
