If you knew what a pain in the ass it is to get my door to open sometimes… Trust me - using the keypad method if I’m already outside the car is way faster.

They all came with the electric actuator. It just isn’t software enabled for you. Has nothing to do with the frunk divider. Mine came with that, too.

It works for me too!!! What a nice surprise! ? I will definitely be using my frunk more now. I have to admit that I also use my kick open for the trunk a lot, and I am really glad that I also have that feature. An easier way to open the frunk was the only thing I felt I was missing. Now my Mach E is complete. (Well almost. I am still going to try to get that working Fob thing figured out somehow.) Can’t wait to go grocery shopping now to give it a try. @Jimrpa, hope you get this ability soon too!

Shouldn’t take much convincing. The CSP was updated months ago to include the build dates that were erroneously omitted.

My plan is to get a refund on the fob I bought and then see if they can order a Lightning fob separately with the credit money... not tie it in to the CSP so far as their paperwork is concerned.

I know that doesn't work for those who never purchased the additional fob, though.

Ya know that little procedure for getting to a dead 12V battery that involves popping off the bumper cap and grabbing the two wires and connecting them up to a power source to open the frunk?

That's the same actuator....all Mach-Es have it, just some were blessed with the ability ('21J2 going forward) to open it without having to use the manual lever.

You probably have a GFM and BCM in your available software update list that would solve that problem.

Yeah, but it's really awkward when your hands are full of the stuff you'd like to put in the frunk.

There is no CSP for the frunk release specifically at this point, but I believe thee are other programs that if you have a problem will update one or more of the modules necessary. ??

The 20,000 mile service was back in October:

• Rotate tires, fluid top up, 27 point inspection etc.
• Recall 22B10 to get a second fob
• Performed TSB 22-2226 (not sure why they did this)
• 12v battery warning was coming on:
  • tested 12v battery (fine)
  • performed SSM 50846 to reprogram RFA
  • performed SSM 50497 to clear CMR, reprogram GSM
  • also reprogrammed BCM, BECM, SOBDB, SOBDMC, PCM, TCM, DDM, PDM

Hahahaha!!!! In your dreams! Ford has been promising to enable it for Job 1 cars in Q1 of next year since 2020 LOL! Farley now claimed on Twitter that anyone who wants it “immediately” can go to their Ford dealer to have the update installed. Good luck with that ????
