Ok. So. I had a RTE 1. Long story short I got a GT AS a replacement. Worked fine from October to January 4th when it became a brick. The shop had it for three weeks, everything seemed ok. Now I got an alert yesterday about service asap. Of course this happened Saturday afternoon at 4 pm. Well on my app I got power train malfunction/ reduced power AND high voltage battery warning.
Now I have had it back for less than a month and now I have to go back to the shop. Anyone else having a lot of issues? I understand new car and technology but seriously I am getting really upset here. Is there something that I am doing wrong? Car has less than 6800 miles on it and I am getting aggravated with the service department as most of them see, like under trained monkeys. Not the tech the idiots at the counter don’t seem to understand that when it shuts down it’s down. Maybe I am asking for too much

Hi there, Scott! Could you please send us a private message with your VIN and dealership information? I would like to look into these warning concerns for you on my end. Thanks!

You have to keep it in perspective. Globally over 70,000 MMEs have been sold. If there's 10 people here that we know of with issues that's a fraction of a fraction of a percent. Obviously there's people who don't participate in the forum, but even if we took 10 of the 8kish members we are still talking about very very few.
It's most amazing to me still how many people don't understand cold = less range

No I don’t blame the dealership. Ford corporate and the mache team is who I am upset with
Lots of similar complaints in another Mach E Forum (not able to post site name here) ... seems to be bad battery cells in some cases, which required shipment and installation of new battery(s). I'm really sorry you're going through this ... and you're right, it's FAR too much money to have so FEW solutions offered.

Who told you that????? Rule #1 of EVs. ABC; always be charging. Keep the car plugged in and limit state of charge. Li battery tech is happiest between 40-80%. (Which is really like 30-90% for the Mach e with battery buffers).
Actually the dealership told me. I mentioned it to the service tech, he said it has nothing to do with it. We will see...

I'm quite certain that's not accurate as we've had a number of folks have problems when their vehicles were plugged in with unstable power...outages that kept the 12v draw and killed the LVB and others who had bricks after with a christmas tree of lights from something getting damaged due to surge or outage. I believe I've seen the owners manual warn not to leave plugged in during lightning for instance.

Well, we will see what the dealership says, another gentleman on here is having same issues and his has been down over a month.

I even asked if my old charger would be doing this as it was a RTE one and this is a GT but the system should be the same regardless, even the tech said he dont think that is the issue.

That's assuming there isn't a problem with that charger too...

Seems pretty unfair you can only get a loaner from your selling dealer. I’d be pretty forceful on getting a loaner or having Ford reimburse you for a rental.
I am not using the selling dealer as I moved, I went through this on the first break down, today they immediately put in me in a loaner. UGG a Bronco Sport but at least it is something

Yes; that is good advice for any electronic device to unplug during lightning. Brownouts, underfrequency and ‘normal’ surges (if cheaply designed under 500v; more robust under 1kV). should not damage the onboard charger. It’s easy enough to include these protections and I sure hope Ford was smart enough to include these in their specs to their charger supplier.

Issue is hardware related because my dealership updated all the software and modules but issue still goes on now they're replacing components.

Those are pretty sweet, aside from the whole gas thing.
