Just dropped off my vehicle for the recall today. Only a $45/day limit on a rental - Enterprise tried to put my into a Chevy Spark at first ? thankfully I managed to get bumped into a Mitsubishi RVR they had in the lot.

That move was to be predicted based on pass track record to date. Not too concerned about a charging pad or some Ford points. Do you know if we have 8 years warranty on the new HVBJB's or are we currently down to 5 with 2 replacements?
The warranty isn't extended or reset. It's 8 year from the first delivery date of the vehicle.

When I had mine done, dealer said Ford only pays $35/day for rental and it had to be with Hertz and the rental vehicle had to be a Ford in order to qualify.

Luckily they had a loaner available the day I dropped off my car (it was another MME) so I didn't have to deal with the rental headache.

I asked for a rental and they looked at me like I was crazy. Been there since last week and now waiting for more parts. Let us know how fast they get the job done.

I think this is a great gesture and Ford is to be congratulated.

I just wonder when I'll have an opportunity to get my HVBJB replaced under this program? Still waiting for my letter saying go git 'er done.

Anybody else with a rear-drive and big battery get that letter yet? I realize living in the flatlands without AWD my risk of part failure is about as low as it could be and still be part of the recall, but I hate to think the dog ate the letter or something.

Especially since we don't have a dog.
Excellent question. I also have a recall on an Escape and it too is in limbo. As a snowbird, I expect the AZ recall to finally arrive in the summer and the WA recall next winter.

Hi Mustang Mach-E Owners,

In our ongoing efforts to ensure you are well looked after, we are offering customers impacted by the 23S56 recall with a goodwill package following service completion as an appreciation for working with us and your dealer to make this right for you.

If you have had your Mustang Mach-E serviced for this recall the goodwill package will automatically be sent to you.

What is included in the goodwill package?
1. 30k FordPass®Rewards – These points are automatically placed in the user’s account after all repair paperwork has been processed by the Dealer and Ford
2. A complimentary mobile phone charging mat with an updated design to be sent directly to the customer’s vehicle registration address after completion of service.
3. Included with the Charging Mat is a $50 reimbursement (either an Amazon Gift Card or a mail check -- customer’s choice)
-This reimbursement will be made available to the customer via a QR code included on a letter accompanying the charging mat.

If you have completed this recall already and are awaiting your goodwill package, we are beginning dispatch of the FordPass Rewards points and mobile phone charging mat this month and you should receive them soon.

What do I need to do to receive this package?
Customers eligible for FSA 23S56 should work with their local dealer to complete the repair. Customers will start seeing their FordPass Rewards points in their accounts approximately 3 weeks after the repair is completed. The charging mat and $50 reimbursement will also be sent approximately 3 weeks after the repair is completed. No additional action by the customer is necessary.

My dealer didn’t mention the goodwill program when I picked up my vehicle after repair. How do I know I’ll receive this package?
Regardless of whether the dealer communicated the details of the package, customers affected by FSA 23S56 will receive these complimentary gifts automatically.

It’s been well over 3 weeks since this forum post, my FSA has been completed, and I have not received any update on goodwill delivery. What should I do?
Please send us a DM here on the forum with your VIN, contact information, recall completion date and dealership. We will review your details and progress of your goodwill. Alternatively our Recall Concierge team will be happy to assist you. They can be reached at 1-833-807-3673 or ford.com/support. Representatives are available Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. ET.

I completed my FSA for this recall prior to this goodwill program going into effect. Do I still receive a gift?
Goodwill is specific to the FSA 23S56 recall program. Customers who have completed the FSA 23S56 recall will automatically receive their goodwill.
Nice, if only I can actually get my recall done though.

I'm still waiting ?

Up here north of the border in the Niagara region, my 21 MME had the recall done 2 1/2 weeks ago. And my model is the RWD with extended range battery pack. I believe the letter came around six weeks before my appointment.

I had a similar experience the last time I had to bring the car in for something. Enterprise offered me a pickup or the Chevy. I don’t usually drive a pickup so I picked the Spark. I walked out to the car with the rental agent and just laughed. I told him I didn’t think I could get in it and took the pickup.

Had a great experience getting the recall work done today.
Last month, I took my '22 GT (April 2022 build--so in priority group) to the dealer for tire rotation and asked about the HVBJB replacement. A part was ordered for me, and a month later the work was done. I dropped it off at the dealer at 7:30am and was given a Mach E (non GT as a loaner. What a difference driving) My rental paperwork stated $45/day but I wasn't charged. I received a text at 10 am that the work was completed!
So I picked it up after work and am now waiting patiently for the aforementioned goodwill package. My receipt noted the new part number and other updates. I hope more folks get this experience moving forward.

Looks like they only took about a day. Dropped it off Monday morning and picked it up just after lunch today.

Working through some issues with the dealer though - looks like the tech went flathead screwdriver happy while removing the gloss black trim to make space for dropping the battery. Lots of new scratches... a curbed wheel too.

Everyone check the rear passenger door area, bottom corner by the rear wheel. This cap needs to be removed to access the battery I guess - both sides were messed up for me.

I'll post pictures later after sorting it out with the dealer. ?
