I get excited and happy every time I see another MME on the road, even after 3.5 years and 72k miles of ownership (and trust me, there weren't many 3.5 years ago). But I still don't wave at people because I'm an introvert and that just seems exhausting

I am curious though, how often do you see other Mach-Es when driving around?

My most common trip is to my wife's work and back about 10 miles each way, and I usually see one or two each time.

I wave most of the time but don't see a lot of return waves. Hard to see my small black paw inside of the black interior through the glass.

I get have gotten waves even from other EV owners. Even the Tesla!

If driving slow enough, and can tell they will see, I roll down window, do the "point" (at their EV even if not MME) and then thumbs up. Best response I got was from a Lucid, where they returned the same.

If I got waves from Tesla in my area, I would have to always drive one handed.
At one point I was bored at a few traffic lights and counted them. About 1 in 5 cars were Tesla.

I wave or beep (friendly beep) at fellow MME drivers all the time! I definitely don’t get as many return waves or beeps than I did when I had my Miatas or Saabs.

Personally I’m not a fan for the simple reason lack of styling. They all look the same. Maybe bigger or smaller but the same body design just scaled up or down.

Not a fan of them either. And the "that guy" really seals the deal for me.

I guess it doesn't bother a lot of people to have a car that everyone else has or looks almost identical, but for me I really can't stand it. And that goes double for the color. If the black, white and silver cars all vanished, at least 95% of the cars would be gone around here.

Back when I was driving a Corvette, it seemed the Corvette wave was mandatory! I pretty much wave at ever other Mach-E driver I see, but I think I have only gotten one wave back (at least that I saw) in two years. I guess we're not as friendly as we used to be, or maybe we're just all too cool for that these days...

Waving is a motorcycle thing. Or I should say, the two fingers down (keep the wheels on the ground) "wave". Car waving is a bit creepy for me
