Hey guys,
We've had our 2025 Premium EAWD for a few months now and someone hit us and took off at the charger the other day. The damage appears to be cosmetic, so we were thinking we'd pay cash and skip insurance. We took it in for an estimate today and the body shop we went to said they are unable to work on any EVs, including Fords, because they'll lose their Ford certification if Ford finds out. They said Ford wants to do all the EV work themselves because of the sensors under the panels. Wondering if anyone else has come across this and if that's accurate information. Google is coming up empty. Thanks!
