Still no luck charging at 240V here in Aurora. I'm at nine weeks since delivery now and it's never worked here. I haven't seen an OTA to date either. I'll just keep waiting, I suppose.
Well, the additional piece to the puzzle seems to be why did the update work for some and not others? I scheduled to charge to 90% on certain hours and it seems to have worked this evening. Has only been working the last few days. I don't know how to see if an OTA was received or not, but I have certainly noticed enhancements on the assisted driving.

Well, Here we go again, after about a week of charging on 240 v, plugged in today and nothing.
What's up!

Mine updated today when I was accessing it. Harsh beta tester trying to figure out why the puddle lights stopped presenting again. The mirrors keep closing randomly even if set not to. Hard to trust putting the cover on not sure if it would rip. The update does not appear to have fixed the car not honoring a charge schedule :(.

The glass and rubber are done will be waxing tomorrow. Been warm up here and early spring ? . This thing is just awesome to drive. I scored 50% too harsh think I can do better ;). Would be gr8 if the maintenance part of this vehicle worked :(

Good evening, I finally received the OTA update sometimes between last night and this morning. I got home around 4pm, plugged in the ChargePoint 240V, 50amp, which I have been doing every time I get home. Bingo, it is charging at a rate of 29 miles per [email protected] kWh. It is the first time I was able to charge on 240V for 4 weeks now (Before i was able to charge only on weekends), and the first time in 2 months I was able to charge on a weekday. the only 2 variables today were:
1-The OTA update
2-the battery was 30% charged, which didn't happen before, because I kept it over 50%, last night it was 41% and didn't charge.

I am not keeping my hopes too high but at least it is a start.

I don't have a car yet but I've got a beautiful 240 volt 50 amp SEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage longing for a car to charge. Boy, I wish I could supply one! Anyway, I'm thinking ahead on this and am wondering if there are common denominators here in Illinois with who supplies the electricity and who delivers it to your house. I have Constellation Energy as the supplier that my village decided to go with (Frankfort) and Commonwealth Edison who delivers my electricity. From what I've read on this thread many have Comm Ed; correct? Is the assumption that the voltage delivered fluctuates and this is what is causing the problem? Further, it seems that some have received an OTA update from Ford and they are having success charging; is that right? Again, I'm thinking ahead and wondering if I'll have these issues a few months down the road.

As I posted my 240 charging crashed today. My car says it updated, who knows! Maybe I need another update, will this ever end?

My car also updated last night (first OTA update) and is now charging on the 240 v mobile charger again! First time it’s worked since late February!

Sorry for asking but what was the battery charge percentage when you plugged it in?

It was around 80%. I wasn’t planning on plugging it in until I saw that some people finally had success after the update.

On a positive outlook on this issue.
All my previous encounters were with my dealership at Friendly Ford , Roselle IL, they were very helpful and honest with me, they even got a Ford engineer to check on the car 2 weeks ago. late this afternoon I received a phone call from Ford, inquiring about my issue with 240V, the lady was very nice and took her time asking questions, she even went through the engineer note, she did open a case, and she is going to be my contact with Ford. She did mention that they are working on an emergency update regarding this issue, and she will inform me as soon as it is available also she is going to be in contact with the dealer.
BTW, last night I was able to charge my car on 240v, from 30% to 90% in less than 6 hours, tonight the battery is at 79% and it wouldn't charge, at least now i am optimistic of resolving this issue hopefully soon.

That’s good news! Do you remember who you spoke to? I got a call from a rep today too about this issue. She didn’t mention anything about an imminent update for it, but that’s something.

Aminata, and the imminent update was from the engineer's note who checked the car.
