So it stopped working again. I went to pick up my daughter and then came back to charge it. Following what we did before with the unlock button is no longer working. I believe it’s either a faulty charge port or an issue with the internal charger in the MME. Possibly a regulator because it’s letting it charge at 110 volt but not 240V. The issue is these dealerships are not equipped to troubleshoot these issues and Ford engineers are going to need to assist. I just contacted the dealership again to let them know it’s no longer working. I have heard that in the past Tesla charge ports needed to be replaced but I am now positive that the issue is NOT with my outlet. I am guessing you are having the same issue as me and it’s not related to wiring, outlet or the electricity. So I am back to the drawing board. I would contact your dealership and ask them to contact Ford. Curious, is your car a Forst Edition?I’m happy it’s working for you. I haven’t had any luck yet. I swapped out the outlet today with a Bryant and it is a much more substantial one than the Leviton one that was originally installed. I tried pressing the unlock button and all that would happen with my car was a cycle on and off of the charger. I have a call in to my local Ford dealer and I asked them if they could bring a stock MME to my home to see if it will charge. Based on your experience, it’s almost like your charger learned something about the vehicle and then yours worked. Until the dealer has another in stock, I’m going to have to wait to see what’s going on.
