Yep. Btw, the foam cannon I use is also a Griot’s Garage unit that cost me $39 on Amazon, for just the cannon itself. I also have a cheapie $129 power washer with plenty of psi. Super thick foam splatter using any of the Chemical Guys wash soaps I have.
What power washer is that and where did you purchase it? Thanks!

Hi All. I'm having more trouble post car wash than with other cars. Seems like there's a lot of runoff and streaking that my car wash can't handle. Any tips?

I NEVER put any of my vehicles thru a car wash. I hand wash them all. I'm OCD like that. It also helps that I am in sunny FL and garage kept.

Use leather to drain the water and any residue left...

That looks like streaking from either hard water or the car wash not effectively getting off the soap off. Never used an auto car wash, but that's up to the individual. I"m not fanatical about keeping the car clean, wash it every month or two. BUT I washed my new car for the first time the other day, the GTPE wheels are a bitch with all the crannies! :)

Wow. I think you need a different car wash. I use a touch free wash fairly regularly, and it comes out fine. I wonder if they’re using a little too much gray water at yours.
Some assistance - I read the process to put the Mach E into neutral -but how do you then nudge it forward to "catch" - any tricks or tips?

here's the way to stop that streaking. Once you've washed the car and dried it (I use the absorber), open each door, trunk, hood, and charging port and take a cheap towel and dry in each one.

Hand wash, you won’t get the swirls. Or take a shammie to it after you finish

I have put 12,000 miles on my car and only washed it with a bucket and soap once. A couple ounces of this cleaner diluted with 32 oz of water in a spray bottle with some microfiber towels, and you're done. No streaking because there is no leftover water to run out of cracks. Also, you can clean one panel at a time, if you are in a hurry, or get interrupted. I have used this on all of my cars for years. I use the Eco Shine.
Based on this recommendation I bought the eco shine and a few other products. Love them! Their microfiber towels are really high quality too. Thanks for this post!

black paint looks great when it's clean but a bit tougher to maintain. These are our tips
  1. Hand wash (don't go through car wash that damages your paints that eventually gives you the dull look because of scratches)
  2. apply ceramic coating (makes it easier to maintain that repel dirt and grime.
  3. have fun detailing your car
