How to keep recirculate on continuously?

Has anyone figured out how to keep recirculate on continuously? Dealership said not possible. But how are you supposed to manage cabin air quality if the car forces you to suck outside air? How to block traffic exhaust and pesticides from Ag spraying? In
my Lexus this was not an issue.

You can turn on recirculate. It switches off at the next start up. You touch the little man with the up arrow and turn it on. If you are recirculating air, you do run the risk of window fogging.

Also - replacing the cabin air filter with an activated carbon equivalent will eliminate odors from the outside. Someone had an Amazon link, but I don’t have it at the moment.

Hi thanks so much for the reply but this unfortunately is not the case in my car. It will not stay on for longer than 30-60 seconds. I have brought this up repeatedly at the ford service department and they have said that is just the way the car is programmed to be and there is nothing that can be done to change it….
