The number of posts about battery replacements is so low that I can't even answer "Yes" to your question. Some have had battery packets replaced, under warranty.

This is basically a non-issue.

One Mach E owner in Santa Cruz racked up over 300,000 miles with 8% battery loss. It’s not an issue with most EV’s, unless there’s an issue from the factory.

But…….it still had been THE most asked question of me during my 5yrs+ of ownership to which I answer the “battery” will never fail! A battery consists of a battery of cells which are extremely unlikely to all fail altogether and can be changed in [pairs] of modules if any cell/s go bad.

Second most asked question……….what if you run out of charge to which I answer I never was so stupid to run out of fuel in an ICE so why would I allow an EV to run out of charge

Yeah, that’s what I figured. I searched as well. But wanted to double check.
As you‘re probably aware there is a lot of disinformation on battery life expectancy.
i looked up info on 2012 Teslas (one of the oldest EV out there) and expected Life is 15 to 20 years 300k to 500k miles before battery performance is down 30%.
That seems high but better than the 7 to 10 years and <100k miles I’ve been hearing.

There is a lot of UDaG (Unwarranted Doom and Gloom) about EV batteries and cells. The technology of Li-Ion batteries is stable and mature.

I know one of the first Mach’s delivered to our local dealer had it whole battery pack swapped out. I do not know the “why” of it - only that it occurred and the car then left the dealership.

Consider the source... Whatever source says 7-10 years <100k miles battery replacement has an agenda... this is completely untethered from reality. You may consider whether they say other things that are completely untrue.
