I figured out the random ding dong

With last post about the random chime, I again mentioned that it sounds like the red light camera notification.
It dawned on me that it might be some notification from the built in nav. So I kept it open and in since that day. Ding dong happened again this morning.
Well, guess what. It was a traffic alert in the nav app. Which said, there is no traffic. ?

Mystery solved as far as I’m concerned.

As far as the ding ding. I get it in a couple places of 'lateral wind', school zones and My trips. most of the time I have no drop down or message at all. But since I keep the Nav screen closed (gone, like useless gone gone) I don't get the ding dings.

Its more of a bong bong then a ding-dong. haha Might explain that it goes away if i keep the ford nav closed out.

I keep getting the warning about "railroad tracks". Would like to turn that off.

This was driving me nuts too. I never use the Ford nav but it was randomly alerting me every few days. I finally figured out how to go super deep in the menu and turn it all off.

Go to Ford nav, hit the wrench button on the bottom left, I think hit settings again, then alerts. Uncheck everything that has to do with alerts.

Are you sure it’s not a sound like this?
Boodaloop boodaloop, if so, I found if you buckle the passenger seatbelt first before you start the car you won’t hear it, or both before you start.
