Thanks got it to download I don’t have a clue why I can’t get it off the main screen. I must not be smart enough!@Mv10858
Try this one. It will tell Comma you are an F150, but the I believe that is how we got CalgaryHero and EV_Vida working as well.

edit: F150 and MachE use the same IPMA.
Should switch when you go into Drive. Thanks got it to download I don’t have a clue why I can’t get it off the main screen. I must not be smart enough!

yes, but is not really a MachE specific issue, that has more to do with the experimental nature of that model. It’s not really any better on a 100% verified car. There is a reason you have to go through 3 toggles and two “I acknowledge this is experimental” agreements to turn those features on.The rumor is the Mach-E is waiting for Comma to do injection testing which is a step to get the Mach-E on the main OpenPilot release ... and eventually full support (fingers crossed). The ADAS is great, but the experimental FSD features are not great - it will still rip through most stoplights and many stop signs.
Just ordered two Comma 3x's one for my Mach-e and one for my Lightning... Do the USB cables and ethernet need to be 12ft? seems the ones linked from the guide can't be shipped to my address.![]()
As of 0.9.2, Comma.ai began to support Ford vehicles. Their latest release, 0.9.4, is quite impressive.
Went ahead and put in an order for the Comma C3X and the needed Ford Q4 Harness .
Since our IPMA is located in the trunk area, a long 3.1 USB-C extension is required. I picked out this one, as it seems to meet all the specs.
I will be documenting and taking photographs to the best of my ability so that people can hopefully learn and not repeat any mistakes that I make.
Trying your build unable to get out of dash cam mode says car unrecognized… any tips? After running OpenPilot for a few weeks, I've moved over to a popular fork called SunnyPilot and was able to resolve the fingerprint issue by modifying some of the Panda code in uds.py and adding the Mach-E ECU values. Vehicle now being recognized properly.

You are welcome to check it out: installer.comma.ai/SurferSD/ford-dev-c3 . I warn you that it's a development build and I update the code frequently to test/trial.
