It’s a beta and I’m sure they are collecting as much data as the can to improve it.

I messaged them about the 50 mile drop and they were aware of it and said it was fixed.

So far I’m happy with the results!
Mine is registering 50+ miles less than usual starting yesterday.

But the car also thought it was 113 degrees outside when it’s 90, so not sure if that’s related.

I’m in early access so I’ll see if it updates this week.

Oddly, the last couple of days, in the afternoon, when it was around 90F, my car also thought it was 100+, even up to 109F. This morning it was around 68F which was correct. I'm now curious to see what it will say this afternoon (78F).

My car seems to show 100F anytime it's above 90F outside I've noticed the last few weeks.

I noticed the other day, it was 80 out, but the car was showing mid-90s. Do we know where the outside air temp sensor is? Maybe in a terrible spot picking up pavement heat? or battery heat?

My guess?

If you drive the next 200 miles like your last 200…….. that estimate may be accurate.

I’m curious, do the math in your miles/kWh of your last few trips and see if it adds up.

For those of you that have had intelligent range for a few months now...does it get better? As in actually accurate?

No one has had it more than a few weeks.

For me it's more accurate than before. I mean it looks at your nav route and adjusts, much better for road trips

Seeing this thread reawaken today, I decided to check my EA waitlist status, and to my surprise I was accepted. (I had presumed that they would notify me when I was accepted, but I guess that would be a better experience - we wouldn't want that, now would we?)

That said, as of now it doesn't show that I have any EA "products" available.

I mention this in case others on the waitlist may also have been accepted without their knowledge.

I'm supposedly enrolled in IR, but I haven't really noticed much of a difference on my 2022. My 100% range is about 264 miles and I haven't really seen much change. If anything it's gone up a little in the past few weeks with warmer temps. The 264 mi range shown seems pretty accurate based on my long term average of around 3.0 mi/kWh.

I'm not sure if IR is actually enabled on my car or not. Haven't seen any range adjustments yet.

One theory I have is some of you with low range showing might need a gateway module update. If the Ford server isn't getting the driving or charging logs correctly from the car it might be defaulting to a "worst-case" range due to lack of real data?

I only use Apple Maps/Carplay for nav and I’ve never seen the pop up showing a range adjustment. I did see it drop 50 miles and return to normal after it was first enabled.

I’m showing 276 at 100% right now.

Doesn’t really seem any more accurate.

If anything it’s still reading really low.

This morning it dropped 30 miles and said “range adjusted due to outside temp.” I was in the garage in the morning and it’s low 80s outside.

I also tried resetting my driving history a week ago to see if that would help. Then I also took some longer drives (averaging 2.6 mi/kWh) and my GOM still stayed low.

When I reset the driving history, I went to 240 miles at full charge. After driving less than 30 seconds…… it dropped to 180.

Something else is definitely going on if it’s not using your driving history to give range estimates…..
