Now that new app is working for me, who designed this terrible interface? For home charging, the entire top half of the screen is taken up by a useless picture of a car and charger. Bottom quarter has icons and a big button and there is literally 1 line for showing any useful data.

Our JuiceBox 40 hardwired went off-line 2 days ago.

Calls to customer support stated they are migrating to a new system. They told me to move to the new iOS app, when that didn’t work they told me in order to get my JuiceBox back online that I would have to setup a unique guest wifi network on 2.4 GHz (no 5.0 GHz) and the JuiceBox as the ONLY device on that network. ?‍♂

I told them they have until next week to get stuff sorted out or they will need to buy back my JuiceBox.
Download the new app and sign in using the same credentials and password. I was able to access both apps before deleting the JuiceNet app. No setup was necessary as everything carried forward for me.

All I did was setup an account in the new app, with the same username and password, and the data populated after I logged in, out, and back in again.
I miss the EV news feeds that the other app showed.

This thread means I'm not buying a juicebox (I was about to). The "charger" is just providing a safety circuit between the 240v house and the 240v car. Damned if I'll have such a simple - and mission critical - device only work if an app is working.

It works fine without the app, but I like to be able to see the charge logs. Plus it's one of the models my electric company requires to get lower price for charging off peak but they need to be able to access the charging history.

JuicePass in Apple Store. Original app was JuiceNet. The icon shows X Way.
Looks like they fixed some of the ?’s in the new app. Now it shows the kWh increase and estimated miles and not km’s. It still doesn’t update the history until the EVSE is unplugged. The MME also doesn’t close a charge session until unplugged.

I finally got the new app installed and it is working with a few caveats. First, I cannot set the proper time zone. It seems to default to UTC time. When I set up my preferred charging times (11 pm to 6 pm EST) it will actually start charging at 4:00 am EST. The second issue is that when setting up my vehicle (2021 Mach E premium with extended battery) the only option is a Model year 2019. The third issue I have is that the app does not show nearly all the charging stations available in the map view. It just appears to be an app not ready for prime time. I have not been able to get any response from their support group.

You don't need the app at all for the Mach E, the car can set all the scheduling

That's what I did with the old app, but the Ford Pass app does not seem to play nice with the new Juice net app. What settings should I use on the Enel x app to get it to allow the Ford Pass preference settings to pass through?

You might as well get the Grizzle charge. It's cheaper and you don't have to worry about the Juice Box crappy app.

I think the juicebox is more reliable and comes with a better ITT J1772 connector.
