According to the window sticker, my MachE GT was manufactured May 17 2022, but per the VIN it’s not included in this recall. I called Ford and their answer was that the recall was only for hybrids … go figure. No confidence in this process

Once you do get a replacement how do you know if it is the 2.0 or 3.0 version you're getting installed?

My MachE is an AWD 2021 job 1 it originally showed up on the web page for,the recall. I mentioned it to my dealers service dept and they said the Ford service system said it wasn’t. I called customer service at Ford and they confirmed that my VIN wasn’t listed. No confidence it the process

AFAIK, there are three part numbers, but only two revisions. There is the first part, the second part, and the remanufactured part that is built to the second revision specs (has “RM” at the end of the part number). I am going to guess that the current stock of parts has more RM in inventory and that once the recall gets into full swing there will be a blip in new parts, then nearly 100% inventory of RM parts. We do not know that there is or will be a third version of the part (we also don’t know that there will not be another revision). ??

Just a question - has your HVBJB ever been replaced? Only reason I ask is several forum members who have had theirs replaced have also seen their VIN removed from the recall list. Not sure that it means anything at this time. My speculation, and it is pure SPECULATION, is the recall HVBJB will be the same as the one that has been installed since May 25, 2022 so Ford is currently removing anyone who has had theirs replaced already from the recall list. When that is done they will send letters out to anyone who has yet to have their HVBJB replaced. Once again just SPECULATION. It could; however, be Ford just has to get the stuff together and things are confused. I guess we will all see in due time.

they said “When parts become available, Ford Motor Company will notify you via mail to schedule a service appointment with your dealer for repairs to be completed free of charge parts and labor.”

My guess is, I think many of us will be lucky to get it done 1st qtr next year.

hope I am wrong
My dealer, Keiger Ford, Columbus Ohio, told me I would receive a letter when the parts would be available. The dealer also said, if it's in January, I would have to find a new dealership because they will no longer be an EV certified dealer. No warranty work! My comment, so you're throwing your customers under the bus. Yep!
