@markboris do you know what diameter the bolt is that connects the strut to the knuckle?

Someone said the Mach e may use the same bolt as a 2015+ mustang. If this is true they make special camber bolts that will help correct my alignment.

I knew you were going to ask me this and while I've replaced them on three Mach-E's now, I think they are 5/8" bolts, 3" long. I have some extras at home but I'm traveling today and won't get back until later tonight. I can make sure and get back to you then. I used grade 8 bolts, I know that. I do believe the Mach-E uses the same bolt size as the S550 Mustangs ('15+). I replaced the ones on my 2020 Mustang and pretty sure they were the same.

The stance on your car looks great by the way.

thank you mark! I was looking at these centric bolts for a 2015+ mustang. Im not sure if the bolts you were referring to were the adjustable camber type ?

I’ve used those on ICE Mustangs but not the Mach-E. Just replacing the OEM splined bolts with non-splined gets me the little extra negative camber I want. You however definitely need more and those might do it but not sure with your left front that’s quite a bit out.

Not really a mini vacation. I travel each month to Phoenix and Denver to visit friends for a few days. ?

This is exactly why I went to compare others that bought the same coil over kit alignment numbers to mine.

My opinion on the coil overs is they improved the ā€œsportinessā€ of the ride. I never expected or was surprised that it doesn’t ride like a Cadillac.

I am still experimenting with the rebound and stiffness settings. I don’t think I have found the perfect setting yet for my driving style.

lowering the center of gravity of the car by 1 inch really has took a small suv handling and made it more like a sports sedan. I haven’t taken it to the limit, but was easily able to achieve speeds going into and exiting a turn with confidence not found when it was stock.

I think it was worth the money. I don’t feel any other suspension mods are needed. I do think a wider rear tire would help though. Also this car needs adjustable caster / camber plates.

Just a question from the instructions it seems there's approximately only 3/4" adjustment? Is the highest the current stock heght of a premium?

The highest KW adjusted height is less than one inch lower than the current Mach E height.

And is similar to the GT height. So basically you are lowering down to the GT height if you put the coilovers at max. At least that is what others have reported...

Take a look at the KW installation instructions (attached at the bottom of this post) - specifically page 8 and 10.

Page 8 discusses the usage of the OE top hats from your existing front struts, which requires disassembly of your OE equipment. I am OPTIONALLY choosing to purchase the new top hats (roughly $20/ea) for usage on the KW front components, without the need to disassemble my OE equipment.

Page 10 discusses the usage of the OE upper shock body mounting bracket, which also must be removed from the OE rear strut, AND must be modified to accommodate the larger shock piston rod. Again, I'm OPTIONALLY choosing to purchase a new mount to be paired with the KW suspension, rather than removing from OE equipment.

The purchasing of these components allows for a seamless reinstallation when I decide to revert to stock, AND gives me the benefit for resale of the KW coils to a new buyer, allowing he/she to plug-n-play with zero modification required.

Hey boss, do you happen to remember (or have a receipt in emails from the place you ordered yours) the part numbers for the OE Top Hats & mounts?

Super smart and convenient!

Anyone that has the KW Coil Overs installed going to post their alignment sheets?
I finally got my alignment done today after installing the coilovers several weeks ago. My MME GT is lowered ~.5" from stock.

Did you ever find good camber bolts to use on the front?

No, Hit and Run. Haven’t had the car since February. Can’t discus further as it’s in litigation.

@choson what I notice about your rack numbers vs. mine are that you have far less toe and your car sits higher than mine. Your camber actually is more out of spec than mine. I run more positive toe-in.
