Limping home, so disappointed that I cannot charge at reduced rate at EA because connectivity settings are gone. What's going on?

Any chance you tried the volume down/seek forward hold on the steering wheel to restart Sync? Not sure it would resolve the issue, but may be worth a shot. I think it just restarts the APIM and some of the connectivity items are through the... TCU? I am rusty on that front, knew it well diagnosing connection issues when I first got my 2021 F-150, hopefully someone else can clarify. But either way shouldn't hurt to try.

So you couldn’t activate the charger using the Electrify America app? Or via the FordPass app to use free kW credits or BOCN payment method?

The charger would not connect to the car and the charger defaulted to $0.48 and asked for a credit card. Ford pass app shows error message to enable connected services, but it's missing in vehicle.

if you really need juice i would just pay by credit card at the EA station and fix the connectivity and app settings later.

To be clear. You activated the charger first via the EA app and then plugged in? Or were you trying to Plug&Charge?

Ah, okay that makes sense.

Activate first via the EA App (or tap via your membership card in your phone’s wallet) and then plug in. That’s the trick to get the pass+ rates.

Yep, this update turned off some connectivity settings, just happened to me as well, were you able to turn everything back on yet?
I’m assuming I’ll be able to once I get the connectivity menu to come back up

We are in the same boat as you.

We got 5.1.1 last thursday 9/28

Post OTA:
Noticed charging no longer appearing in FordPass app.
The last charge log entry was from early AM last thursday prior to getting 5.1.1
Departure times icon (square) is missing totally
All vehicle connectivity was turned off

Since the issues appeared we have:

Cleared Fordpass app cache & data, signed back in - No change in symptoms
Uninstalled Fordpass, rebooted phone (S23), reinstalled app and signed in - No change in symptoms
Turned all desired vehicle connectivity on - no change in symptoms
Edited charge location to change name and save - no change in symptoms
Deleted saved charge location (home) and recreated - no change in symptoms

Through the Fordpass App if I click the Connected Services icon I get a "Oops were sorry an error has occurred processing your request. Please try again."

Something is going on......

this happened to our mache as well. The app notified/claims the car is updated on 09/22 to 5.1.1 then on 09/24, the car is no longer reporting to ford pass.

when I check the software status in the car 09/26, it says 5.1.1 update is not completed.

Going to take the car to dealer this sat.

Did you try pulling the TCU fuse to reset the module?
