Mach e Boost/faster acceleration.

Can the Mach e accelerate faster by tapping the pedal on the floor or am I going crazy ?? In my mach e, when I floor it then tap the pedal on the floor it seems to accelerate faster than just holding the pedal. I have no way to test this and be warned this could be a HVJB fryer. All I know is it feels like ford has something in the software to allow a boost or extra power when in unbridled mode whenever the petal is lifted and pressed again. It could be my imagination, but that's what it feels like when you drive. Is there anyone who can test this theory with some times?

What I've done is cut a hole in the floor underneath the accelerator pedal. Then you can push the pedal down further and go faster.

That's nothing, try putting an electrical filter in line with your EVSE and see how much better your car performs on nothing but clean, pure, sparkling electrons.

Some cars have a “kick down” section of the accelerator pedal, it’s like a little indent at the end of the travel. It’s meant to force a gear change to accelerate faster in emergency situations, it will also override the “manual” mode on an auto transmission.

unfortunately what you’re feeling is probably slop in the drivetrain lol.

You got to be careful. That might cause an over pressure of the manifold leading to the floorboard falling out.
