I guess Ford didn't give them updates on the launch schedule, or they just didn't pay attention.

Or he was talking at length in a one cut video recording about a vehicle he just learned about the day before, without referring to notes or a script, and he made a few mistakes but did manage keep good control of the driving around cones that he happened to be doing at the same time.

Driver monitoring system for the Hands Free.

They're infrared (IR) LEDs used for face tracking for the hands free mode. You can't see them with your eyes, but digital cameras can detect IR light.

Much like the LEDs used in remote controls. If you check, you can actually see the IR LED turn on when you push a button with your phone camera.
