Do we have an issue page? If not ill change my title and add the whine and wind noise. As for the garage door unless we have more data on what you said, ill leave it. As for wireless AA, if you have to go find a beta release to get it to work and not as simple going to playstore and updating it, it also stays. To me, instrumental display electrical whining and wind noise from glass roof are the two biggest issues. Surely everyone has different priorities.
Ford may be able to tune it. But I don't think it's realistic to expect it to work much better. I think there are technical restrictions there. If you expect it to work as well as key fob, you will be disappointed.
I refuse to carry keys, and would be fine using PIN code to enter and drive exclusively. (I use Nest x Yale lock for home, which can be unlocked with either PIN code or through a button in app. I use PIN most of the time, because that's faster than unlocking from the app.) PaaK is more convenient than using PIN code, but I don't mind falling back to PIN code. So PaaK has met (or exceeded) my expectations.
- For entry, PaaK works reasonably well for me.
- For starting the car, the car often can't detect PaaK when the phone is in my pocket when I sit in the driver seat, which reminds me to put it on the charging pad (and therefore isn't too bad).
Android Auto is fixed, if you are tech savvy enough to install the next version before Google rolls it out to 100%. If not, well, multiple people including me have verified that the next version works, so all you need to do is wait a week or two.
Works perfectly with my 2012 model LiftMaster. If your garage door opener is very old, it is well known that HomeLink may have compatibility issue with it. There really isn't anything Ford can do here. You may be able to buy a bridge that would resolve your issue.
As for Paak youre probably right but thats not what was promised so it stays.
