I'll admit I do not see many MMEs on the road, but riding diwn the pike the other day I spied a red MME travelling in the right lane as I passed in the left lane. The driver gave me a nice friendly wave. It reminded me of the Jeep wave that Jerp owners do or the Harley wave that Harley owners do when they see another. Both are distinctive.

So what do you do when you see another MME and do you think we need to come up with a distinctive wave?

I almost always wave (sometimes I miss waving). Many do not wave back (probably because they didn’t see me, or maybe they don’t like black Poodles). I got a good wave back last night from a black GT. We both were gawking at each other’s cars. ??

Just a quick note. Drove by our local dealer who I am pretty sure did not elect to go Model e. I was thinking how few Mach e’s and Lightnings there would be around town as the next nearest dealer is 350 miles away. As I pulled into the clinic low and behold out drove a black Mach! Made me laugh to myself. My wife may go back and help out at the local dealer for a week or two and then I will know for sure what their plans are.

Was wondering what kind of wave. Jeep wave is two fingers up off steering wheel, harley is a extended downward wave towards ground. Thumbs up has been a common one when cool car is involved an more generic. Sounds like middle finger is also popular.

I try to wave, but sometimes am oblivious. I’ll definitely try to keep an eye out for any Mustang Mach es with black poodles and wave like crazy and flash my lights if I see one!

I used to wave but rarely got a response. Now we have too many here for people to care.

And it's not just for Harleys, it's all motorcycles. Two fingers down = ride safe, both wheels on the ground. Tap on the helmet = five-o.

Yes, and I read that there is a hierarchy or protocol for Jeep owners as to who waves first, etc.

I stopped waving, nobody answers anyway :(
And with more MachEs around, the feeling of novelty and exclusivity is a thing of the past. Still makes me happy to see them on the road though.

I always honk and wave…and if I pull into a lot and I see one parked near where I’m going, I park with them. #StrengthInNumbers ?
