The MME is a crossover also referred to as a CUV.

The traditionally difference between an SUV and a CUV is an SUV has a full frame a CUV has a unibody.

So many people think of a SUV as a truck and a CUV as a car.

Want one more confusing is the Maverick a CUV with a truck bed? Australians would call it a Ute

Or that it’s a station wagon with a lot of headroom? ?‍♂?
I don't think the back is long enough for station wagon status. I often walk up to my car and think, "Sheeba, you are weird looking thing but I love you" ?

??? Right so when people ask me what it is, I'm just going to tell them I have no idea. It's just cool and I love driving it. Buy one.

Out of Spec for me :)

Not really digging their exterior/interior colors. Ford Mach E's look better imo.
I like kyle's reviews as he goes straight to beating on them. Can't have a beater without knowing how it behaves being beat on. If your EV isn't your beater, you're doing it wrong ?

Confirmed that only the SS will have SuperCruise. Very disappointing that the RS won't get it, will probably cancel now.

Nice walk around video of the SS.

Front end looks nice. Hate the wheels and the rest is ok. Equinox and Silverado EV are also at the end.

Supercruise sucks FWIW. It's kinda like bluecruise except that it doesn't work on 98% of roads.

Lol. If I'm getting an EV I want an assisted driving capability.

The lack of CarPlay / Android Auto ruined it for me. A buddy put in a pre-order ... and cancelled it as soon as he heard that GM is dropping that feature.

The thing is ... Apple allows auto-makers to incorporate the feature at no charge -- they pay no licensing or royalties to Apple. I actually _do_ use CarPlay.

But I looked at this change in the light of "why would they take a feature they _already_ support on nearly every model ... and drop it from their EVs?" The only thing I can come up with is ... they want to sell subscriptions.

With CarPlay/Android Auto, you can use services in your car that may or may not be free ... but let's say they are not free... suppose you subscribe to a music service. That music service is tied to YOU. It is not tied to an individual device ... or, in the case of a car, each individual vehicle. If you use Spotify, Pandora, LastFM, or in my case ... Apple Music ... your service works wherever you are. It works in your house. It works when you're out for a run. It works when you're in your car and it doesn't matter _which_ car. You could be in a friend's car and it would still work. This isn't like SiriusXM where you have to register the "radio" (and the audio quality is garbage compared to any other service.)

I'm not opposed to subscribe to services that require regular updates and provide value. I would never do a "subscription" for things like heated seats, steering wheel, remove fob, etc. because those are services that might require extra hardware or software ... but it's hardware or software that doesn't require regular updates to keep it working. I think of those as "Buy once. Use forever."

Things like highway navigation, ADAS (BlueCruise, SuperCruise, etc.) require that maps are constantly updated and software updates (e.g. BC 1.0 to BC 1.2 ... although that hasn't happened yet in any cars that I am aware of). But I can see paying for updates as a reasonable thing ... or paying a subscription because it requires updates to keep it working (Ford's price is not reasonable ... but that's another subject.)

I looked at GM's move not so much as an intention of deleting something I want ... but rather I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop when they tell owners that in order to get the things that came with Car Play and Android Auto ... they have to pay a subscription fee to GM. And if you own more than one GM ... you'll pay that fee AGAIN per each vehicle. I am not ok with that and will buy my cars from someone else.

SS deliveries pushed back to spring 2024. Ouch.

Recent photos from GMA of a Blazer RS driving around. Didn't realize how sloped the rear is. Definitely prefer the Mach E's rear design.

Comparatively, the Honda Prologue EV (based on the Ultium platform) has no such rearward slope. The Prologue design is more conventional and attractive, albeit with a horrid interior imo.
