Mounted the bracket on wall but the mobile charger just comes right off when I pull the wire to the car

Currently being held up by my pressure washer to relive downward tension

Not much wiggle room due to the metal conduit in the way

I don’t have any tools to bend the conduit
Any ideas on what I can do to get this to work?

I'd do the following:
1. Loosen the bracket
2. Run two velcro straps between the bracket and the wall
3. Tighten the bracket
4. Wrap the velcro straps around the charger

I started to suggest zip ties, but the plastic zip ties may not hold up well with the heat from the charger and you'd have to replace them every time you wanted to take the charger with you.

Is it the tension from the pigtail plugged into the outlet that's pulling it off the wall? Can you mount a board of some kind next to the conduit to bring the bracket out so that it's flush with the outlet?

Mount the bracket to the conduit WITHOUT screwing into it. You could glue it, or do something with contoured wood blocks and zip ties.

Your problem is the bracket is too far from the plug which is a cord that doesn’t bend. Attach a 3/4 inch block over the conduit, below the outlet, and then attach the bracket to the block.

Or, rotate the socket 90 degrees and mount the bracket along the side of the outlet. Nothing says the mobile charger needs to be under the outlet.

Ummm, could the bracket that is supposed to hold the Mobile Charger be upside down, and that's why it keeps popping out?

It seems that the outlet was installed too low. I think it should be a minimum of 4’ off the floor or so my electrician said.

Unplug Ford EVSE
Place back in bag
Store in trunk for emergencies
Purchase a wall mount EVSE
Mount above your outlet

Might sound cynical but there are a few threads where the Ford EVSE has had issues over time.

Otherwise just mount something behind the bracket (wood, etc) so that the cord from outlet to EVSE does not put pressure on the outlet or EVSE.

I just flipped my outlet upside down due to it being so low to the ground. I don't charge much at home but it has worked fine for me.

Nope top part hits the short neck and snugs a fit. Just the wire keeps moving causing it to slip off

Imma try this. Thanks!
I’m sure menards has straps like this I can use
