I have had my MME since July 16th. I have been asked numerous questions from curious folks. I wanted to share some of those questions I received with you guys.

Most asked question so far: What is it?
(What do you mean what is it. Do people not internet like I do?)
2nd most asked question: How far can you go on a charge, you use gas too right?
(Nope, no gas. I charge at home while sleeping)
Most bizarre question so far:
I was putting groceries in the car at Harris Teeter. Guy parked in front of me said “ Oh, that’s the new mustang?”. I reply yes, it’s Fords new Electric Mustang. He replies, “Great, is it a V8?” I just stared at him strangely for a few seconds.
(Nope, no engine)

As a side note, I have had so many supped up Honda civics, F150s, F250s, and Chargers try to race me.🙄😂 It’s getting ridiculous. I’m not a teenager (40+ years old)

This shows the penetration of EVs and knowledge of the general population outside our bubble. Most people still have no interest or real education in EVs.

I get two questions every Friday morning with friends.
Are you sure you want an all electric car?
When do you get it?

answers:
Yes
Hoping for second week in Sept.

My friends all want to know if it's faster than my Tesla. I got more questions from strangers on the Tesla than I have on the MME, so, yeah, not really additive to the conversation here.

I get most of these questions listed. To keep it fresh, here is some from the naysayers/skeptical I have received (doesn't happen often at all):
How much range have you lost already?
-Original answer was none. New answer is my range has increased! (due to software update unlocking 2 more kWh
Don't you think charging is inconvenient?
-Absolutely the opposite, way more convenient!
How long will is last, aren't you going to have to spend thousands on a new battery?
-Warranty is 8 years or 100k for the battery, so at least that long. Some people really seem to believe the batteries have to be replaced every few years.

It’s always “how far can you go?”

I say around 300 miles and everyone is impressed. I then say since I charge at home it’s like having a gas station at your house. Most people are genuinely ignorant/curious, if they are friendly I’m happy to answer their questions and bring more people on board.

Yeah, we get that one every time! We pulled in to a Pizza Place over the weekend and a couple guys asked me pretty much all of the usual questions. When they left I saw them climb into a massive F350! Somehow, I don’t think they care too much about how much money they are spending on gas!! Lol
