Thanks..shouldn’t the dealer have called me?
No, not necessarily. It’s a CSP, what they should do is just program and give you one the next time the car comes in for service. But calling isn’t prohibited either.

Hi All,

After calling the dealership and pointing out that the car ships with 2 fobs, as noted on the standard equipment list (thanks devmach-e!), they miraculously "found" the second fob. I'm going to get it today!
Woo hoo!

Only received one fob with vehicle (2021). Knew that would be the case ahead of time. Ordered one from dealer parts. Listed retail price (Ford) was $30.00. Parts guy said it would be $285.00. Of course I never picked it up. Ordered 2nd fob from another vendor for $80.00 and the price was going up quickly due to demand. It was over $100.00 by the time I received mine (last year). Dealer did program it (I had it in hand when my vehicle arrived).
Jump ahead a year and a half :
Took MME in last month for 21S42 and 21C22(glass)....non notified recalls 21P22, 21G01 and 22B10(fob) also installed. Ninety-five miles and nearly a month later (for two days work) I had my car back. The dealerships bill (to Ford) was $4,400.00.
Any dealer that tells you they cannot get the fob is simply lying and at the same time stupid. The "service" department is always a huge profit maker for car dealerships. Why they would drive away business just because it's an EV makes no sense. Whiny spoiled brats.
Hope there is another one close by that still wants to make money now and in the future (w/o ludicrous ADMs).

I bought a 2021 in August 2021 and it came with one FOB.
I bought a second one for about $270 because the "phone as a key" was not reliable.
When I read on this forum that Ford has changed their mind on the FOB issue, I went back to the dealer and they issued a return payment to me.
Good customer policy by Ford.

Heck, I was told that my Job 1–with one fob—doesn’t even fall under 22B10 (nor do I see it when I look it up on Ford’s website myself). I ended-up buying a second one, but honestly, I don’t ever use it. PAAK has been pretty great for me all things considered.

Still, I wouldn’t mind having a third. ;)

ETA: Well I’ll be…I wasn’t in 22B10 last week according to the website nor a month ago when I went to the dealer for something else and asked, but I just checked again for fun and it’s on the Ford website for me. I think I need to stop in at a dealership!
When the service person read 22B10 to me last week, it indicated that if you have bought a fob, they are supposed to refund the cost of that one, plus tax.

May I have a link about Ford program 22B10? I'm not finding it googling, just FAQs, etc. I'd like the link to see if my car is eligible. I purchased it 5/2021.

Good luck getting the second fob Ford owes you. I’ve tried two dealerships and they’ve both told me the fobs are back ordered thanks to the chip shortage everyone keeps using as an excuse even though it’s supposedly over now…
I had no problem getting the second for my First Edition a couple of weeks ago. They delivered it under 22B10.

I just took delivery of my Grabber Blue Premium AWD ER Mach-E today. I was very surprised to find out it only comes with one key fob. I realize my phone, maybe my watch (haven't tried that) and probably soon the micro-chip in my dog will allow me to start the car, but only one fob? I'm sure I'll like using my phone as I get used to it, but c'mon Ford. It's almost a $60,000 car! I do like to have a fob in my hand sometimes and so does my wife.

Anyone get more than one fob with their Mach-E?
I got two with mine. But in UK the law prevents Ford letting you use your phone ?!
